Wonder if they'll recommend her to amp up the dark villian energy as infamy is very marketable, probably not though since I wouldn't assume most of those on her team would think about infamous marketability and probably feel bad about her villian moniker.

I can't help but imagine in the middle of some big race the top contenders are hyper focused on the race only to get their contraction broken when they notice Shirogane slowly pass them by while carrying Urahara because she is determined to help her friend win at least one race even if that means carrying her across the finish line herself.

The day you see the heel of the track fulfill a Christmas miracle for the eternal underdog of racing. That would immediately give her much more fame than winning the race.
 
Do you guys remember that one race in Cin Gray where in the Japan Cup they raced faster and faster and set a record pace. I wonder if there is going to be a similar race in which Shirogane is going to constantly run against a front runner and the whole races rhythm is utterly gone due to that and other umas are now decidedly trying to keep up. Burning up all the stamina and getting rushed as well

Eh, that froathing at the mouth, friendly firing, reckless zealot is overrated. Tanya deserves to be free from the Bloody Valkyrie. And she can have Rivals from the game itself, she doesn't need Mary to be it? That's a trap a lot of Youjo Senki crossovers fall into, and it always mostly ends with the two of them pointlessly duking out. It makes the story a bit of a drag.

(Mary x Tanya is also a guilty pleasure of mine, still.)

Personally I agree on not having Mary since story's that include her tend to be forced into having her be a huge plot point and that gets a little boring, but I would love someone who could fill the same role as Mary as someone that Tanya despises so we can see her actually be mean.
I'm still excited to find out what eventually will drive Shirogane into racing and gives her an ability, since she's happy to just do well enough to earn a pay check someone kind of has to force her to into breaking her limits to win or something similar.

I said it before, but Tanya has a set of fuzzy memories between The Soldier and The Uma, presumably she lived a life as a Horse. Why? Who knows, maybe X was buying time or something, except by doing that he probably ran afoul of the Three Goddesses and I just love the picture of them cold clocking him into oblivion.

If he sent Mary after Tanya then she's probably here but not empowered by X, in fact she's probably been striped of all the "blessings" he gave her.

Good, they're noticing how she can improve, and they can bring it to her attention. There's been talk about how Shiro could improve if she pushed harder from the start instead of pacing herself the traditional way, but it's not something that Shiro would figure out on her own. Fortunately, her trainer and senpais are there to help.

I agree, this doesn't feel like a storyline where direct divine involvement would support the direction of the plot. Especially when there are plenty of canon uma who can fill the role of a rival much better, and don't have the baggage that X brings with it.

Shiro taking everything literally continues to be funny. The AOE debuff she emanates also is funny although I hope it won't be overused. It seems the type of thing that only racers both inexperienced and unfamiliar with her would be affected by, though I could definitely see the misunderstanding field having an interesting interaction with it.
 
Imagine in a few years after she retired from racing Shirogane become a recruiter for team Rigil , you need to race against her to join the team, if you got scare you lose but if you can handle her killing intent then you passed
Racing against Shirogane must feel like being chase by a predator for the Uma, don't know why but their instinct told them to RUN LIKE HELL
Stay Gold what are you up to here, is Gold Ship hiding near the stump with a sack

If Shirogane didn't eat at the cafeteria she won't meet Oguri Cap right ?
