The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Fabled Webs
Hi, Fable here.
I write a lot of fanfiction. As in, more than a million words per year. Unfortunately, I also have the attention span of a drunk squirrel. I can't focus on anything for longer than an hour or so and committing to a project just isn't my style.
To get around that, I write a lot of different stories. I try to update them all consistently, but my muse takes me where it wills. Usually, you can expect at least one chapter of each story per month, except quests.
If you look, you'll find that I crosspost to lots of sites. There are a few reasons for this:
First, I won't lie, is the greater audience. I'm a huge attention whore and I accept that. Having more people enjoy my works does feel very satisfying. I've also found that readers from different sites often fixate on different aspects of my work in reviews and it's interesting.
Second, it's a source of legitimacy. The fanfiction community is lawless and people sometimes plagiarize authors' works. I don't mean taking an idea or three, I mean copying things verbatim and posting the stories as their own. By crossposting to so many sites, I can easily point at something and say, "Yeah, that's mine."
Third, though I've never written smut, and likely never will, I do occasionally touch on topics that some sites might consider sensitive, and therefore NSFW. To date, this has included racism, violence, torture, etc. Like every author, I don't like being told that I can't write something, but ultimately must comply with a site's rules. Naturally, I therefore post to sites with different rules.
Lastly, readers have different preferences. FFnet has a pretty good app for mobile. Space Battles and Questionable Questing has a lot of open discussion due to their format.
I officially have too many fics to fit in my signature. I'm not sure if that's an accomplishment or a monument to my terrible attention span. You can find all stories on FFnet, Ao3, SB, SV, QQ, and RR. I also have two quests I run on Akun (Fiction-Live). Tip Jar: patreon.com/user?u=83024152
