The issue with logging in with email addresses has been resolved.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
For all I know it's because my browser or an adblock plugin or something just doesn't get along with the specific cookie QQ uses to track this, but I'm not gonna start dropping those for QQ's sake and this sort of setting shouldn't need to be a cookie. I'm signed in already.

I'm going to bring up the page width thing again. I know it's a relatively minor annoyance, but it is also literally constant. It's happening pretty much every single time I load a QQ page now- maybe 4/5 or 9/10 times- and every time it happens I have to scroll all the way to the bottom to...

Yep, totally valid. Doesn't matter how a person comes into being, just that they are a person. Similarly, while Maidroids aren't people to start with if you did something to turn them into people with aftermarket modifications they could become Companions.
I don’t have a hard method for determining budget or a go to any world option (iirc, there may have been one in the alt rules I am forgetting), but by considering the setting's scale, the outlook of the people in it, how likely you are to be in actual danger, and so on you can probably sus out...
At one point I intended to do a big expansion to make sure every world had companions and every companions a world, but I never got around to it and at this point it's more likely I'd do a full new version if I came back to the concept.
Also yeah, you can make multiple networks if you want. As for upgrading... should be able to, yeah. Flipping people between companion sets should be an option, and having one companion under multiple different networks should as well.
This does mean that Noblesse is simply much better than Seed Money in some worlds, though in something like Star Wars, Worm, or Mass Effect Seed Money is in turn better than Noblesse.
It scales with your setting, so if you took Noblesse in 40K yeah you'd be like a Rogue Trader or Inquisitor or Governor of a region. Honestly looking back the 'World' terminology was a mistake, I should have used Setting from the start.
As for who you can replace, it depends on what other perks you have: if you're inserting as someone rich you need to take Seed Money, if you're inserting as a powerful wizard you need to take Local Power at least once or twice, if you're inserting as a prince you need Noblesse Oblige, stuff like...
