The issue with logging in with email addresses has been resolved.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
I don't think this is nesscarily a problem? I feel like transhumanism = bad unless it's the PCs doing it is sort of off brand. That being said this definitely deserves more then 20 minutes of time.
Mr Blank seems 100,000% the product of mad science, though. Only a small upgrade to the danner...
We've seen Barda etc. talk about the justifier helmets as something standard from the beginning, so I don't think it's that. That being said, it's perfectly possible that they ended up looking into his technology and messing things around.
They should probably get uncle sam and/or doctor mist...
I do wonder about the implications for the reach war of this guy having the ability to make boom tube generators - it seems like at least the midcore of the reach can't effectively interdict boom tubes, at least as a matter of routine, so there's definitely a world where some sort of lantern...
I do think that there's also the more pragmatic problem that the 'tactical overwatch' role and the 'strategic administrator' roles of the justice league are kind of compressed to batman and mister atom - there'd probably be a pretty significant dropoff in overwatch quality if either of them were...
Did he actually meet a violet lantern version? I think he just sort of saw that there was some violet rings at the krona fight, but at least on screen don't think he ever stopped and talked to one.
Do wonder how much this is a mess that arose from the sapient rights act and the like - if...
Miscellaneous thoughts: I wonder if Queen Artemis's world has an order and/or chaos magic tradition - sure John could get something out of that if it exists, and the records of the tower of fate might be of interest there.
The Tower of Fate probably has some applications in terms of dream...
random babbly thoughts:
Did he ever end up figuring out if manhunter psychic training sim stuff supported magic use properly?
Did Kalmin ever end up making himself a power ring?
Not sure how magical the civilization of jarhanpur is and how much they're doing the whole atlantean modernization...
Thinking about the scene talking about how easy it'd be to destroy to world a 1000 years ago.
I think it has to be doable in principle? I don't think there was anything stopping there from being some sort of say, fear enlightened mystic 1000 years ago from connecting to Parallax and using the...
Effigy does have a pretty close equivalent to heat vision in the molecular destabilization beam he uses. Feel like this should probably say something more like "if Kryptonians didn't have super senses".
I love how much Jevek just hates the fact that he's in a superhero multiverse and he's going to have to deal with the fact that the best powers are wishywashy ^^
The whole point of the Effigy project was to get a superpower program that wouldn't rely on lantern-like finnickiness of mood (or...
Looking back it's a bit suprising how well Invincible Paul has been able to keep up orange ring operations while scared out of his mind, given his level of ring mastery.
Looks like a fight with a viltrumite as of right now for him sort of just comes down to damage trading - which doesn't seem...
Yeah, I have to say, it does often feel like Paragon Paul has a bit of a brain worm in his head that says that the way to solve things:tm: is through at least the fruits of his ring - all other things being equal he tends to really prefer doing things with his ring or with technology that his...
I'm sure he at least knows that Lantern Stewart exists, since he was around when he was being introduced to working with Gardner. I think the match up between Effigy and him or say, Jordan is probably relatively even?
He really doesn't have the disposition for weathering the anti-life well...
We know that 'telekinesis supressors' exist - though I don't think we've seen any application of that technology that would even pessimstically need a range of more then a few meters, beyond whatever the psions ended up using the capture Adam Blake. Even if it isn't traditionally 'interdictable'...
