The issue with logging in with email addresses has been resolved.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Some people would literally rather die than surrender, that's just how humans are.
Sometimes they are right to keep fighting, sometimes they are not, but it is irrelevant because their fundamental nature is to keep fighting anyway.
Sometimes they can do that actually. Shapeshifting in fiction runs the gamut from 'only visual appearance' to all out true transformations.
Becoming emotionally attached to your captor\abuser is a well studied psychological defense mechanism in humans.
Most people will do what they feel is correct and take the easiest way out without thinking much about it most of the time, that is simply human nature.
It is also easy to forget that half of the population is of below average intelligence, and average intelligence isn't that intelligent, and...
They won't; its a narrative requirement in superhero stories for the government to be corrupt and ineffectual as if the government is competent then people start asking unfortunate questions like "what exactly is so bad about the idea of superheroes having some degree of government oversight?"
Superhero comic rules demand that The Man do something stupid and short-sighted at the worst possible time to justify why superheroes should be allowed to exist without government oversight.
Talia trying to sneak one past and (almost) getting away with it because everyone else is too busy trying to pick up the pieces of the world to notice her adjustments to specific wording does make more sense than Batman doing it on the sly.
Despite common belief, whether the bones are cooked or not does not have any measurable effect on the safety: All bird bones, raw or cooked, have a small but non-zero chance of splintering in such a way as to damage the dog's digestive tract. It has to do with the structural differences between...
This is actually one of those situations where Luthor would have valuable input. You don't want to just do whatever he says of course, but his opinion on the subject would likely be useful even if only from the perspective of analyzing the situation.
I don't think angel Paul has any ability to read minds or divine the past, so he genuinely cannot say whether Weasel killed the children or not.
All he can say is that it doesn't seem like something he would expect Weasel to do.
It's Waller so there's a very solid chance Weasel was included because she figured it was an easy way to get him killed and thus not need to keep paying for his imprisonment.
Many animals kill for no apparently perceptible reason other than the enjoyment of it, but "apparently perceptible" is very much the operative term there, and it is not always clear that killing is actually the desired goal: In the famous case of adolescent elephants killing rhinos for example...
