An addendum to Rule 3 regarding fan-translated works of things such as Web Novels has been made. Please see here for details.
We've issued a clarification on our policy on AI-generated work.
Our mod selection process has completed. Please welcome our new moderators.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
That requires you to make a post on an actual thread. Like this one (but any will do). https://forum.questionablequesting.com/threads/introduction-thread-sup-all.6/ Then, a process will go off every 30 min or so, and grant your account the rest of its permissions. Including the ability to do...
Xenforo, the base forum softwaare we use, supports more than just Likes when it comes to reactions, hence it showing 'All'. It is just that the staff of QQ made the decision a long time ago to only have likes, and has seen no reason to change that.
Along the bottom of the page in desktop (not sure about mobile), should be some text labeled 'Style chooser'. Click that and you can choose between multiple different styles for the site, some of which are dark.
Unfortunately, I don't believe that threadmarks are available for PMs. However, you can get a link to the specific message by clicking on the timestamp in the upper left of the post.
You could then either keep that in a separate document/post.
In order to combat spam, we require all first posts be approved by the mod staff. Then, an automated process will grant accounts the full permissions. It looks like your prior post back in 2022 was a profile post, which does not count. It would need to be a post in a thread, such as...
It needs a mod to manually approve it, and I have done so now. It will take another 30-60 minutes for the system to unlock the full permissions for your account.
Speaking as staff, it is not currently against the rules around silent AI-usage. People are free to inform whether they use it or not, but the staff will not be enforcing it one way or another.
As anti-spambot protection, before an account has full permissions, it needs its first post to be manually approved by a moderator. Then, after 30-60 minutes, an automated process grants those permissions. I've approved the ones in the queue for you. Have a great day!
We can give you a permaban if you would like? Just note that that would preclude you from participating on the forum with a different account. We don't allow people to escape their past posting. Potentially you could go back and delete your own posts, but that would be on you.
