[Chunin Exams Stadium- The Uzumaki Heir]

'Father has really outdone himself this time.' Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, the sole male heir of the Uzumaki Clan thought as he looked at the stadium which hosted the first ever Great Chunin Exams from the stands.

For the first time in history, the Konoha Stadium held people not only from the Fire Nation but all the five Elemental Nations.

The Great Chunin Exams was one of his father's most ambitious projects, the first time the Kages of all five Hidden Villages were standing together in public on the same stage after decades of warring with each other.

'Still doesn't mean that the Hidden Villages have started to trust each other all of a sudden. One simply needs to look at the list of the finalists to know the truth.'

Indeed, not a single Shinobi among the finalists was from Konoha's former enemies, Kumo, Kiri and Iwa.

Most of the Shinobi from these villages had forfeited in the first round while the remaining had not signed the life and death contract for the second round, thus ending their journey in the Great Chunin Exams.

It was obvious that the three Hidden Villages didn't want to risk their precious Shinobi in what was basically a public stunt for them.

'And yet, even this was not enough to convince the Village Council to allow me to participate in the Great Chunin Exams.' Naruto thought bitterly.

Since Naruto was the last male heir of the near extinct Uzumaki Clan and probably even the last male, his life had been filled with the politics of the Konoha Village Council since he was born.

Not to mention that his father Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage often bent to the Village Council's demands because of his overprotectiveness for him.

Ever since the attack on his mother by a mysterious masked man on the night of his as well as his twin sister's birth which had almost led to the death of his entire family, the overprotectiveness of his parents for the two of them was off the charts.

Narumi, his twin sister who didn't look like him since she had red hair rather than Naruto's blonde, had it less worse than him as she had a part of the Kyuubi, the Nine Tailed Beast sealed inside her with the rest of the beast sealed inside their mother.

Kyuubi, being sealed inside Narumi, provided her with enhanced regeneration and even a part of his chakra should she manage to control it. Due to this, his parents could afford to be a little less hard handed with her.

However, Naruto, on the other hand, was left to face the full force of his parents' overprotectiveness while also facing the constant clamour from the Village Council.

'Hmph! Those Village Council bastards just want me to form a harem of their daughters and be their puppet. When will they stop pushing the Clan Resurrection Act for me to Father?'

The Clan Resurrection Act or CRA for short was an act which allowed the last male heir of a near extinct clan to legally form a harem so as to produce a huge amount of children for the proliferation of the clan.

While the CRA would certainly be extremely attractive to any hot-blooded male his age, Naruto was not interested in it a single bit.

The reason being that he had seeing how helpless his great, oh-so powerful father was against his mother's anger far too many times.

If his great father could not control a single wife, how was he to handle multiple?

Not to mention that he had never thought of simply becoming a babymaker. Being the only son of the Hokage, he had some big boots to fill, the first one becoming as great a Shinobi as his father.

Though his twin sister Narumi would certainly like to contest that she would achieve that level first. After all, she had been loudly proclaiming her dream of becoming the Hokage since her Academy days.

Anyways, returning to the topic, because of the Village Council's pressure, Naruto's father Minato could not allow him to participate in the Great Chunin Exams despite the fact that he had been trained by Konoha's strongest corps, the ANBU since his Academy days and already had elite Chunin level chakra reserves.

His dear sister had only been allowed to participate because it would be extremely dangerous for a Jinchuuriki like her to participate in a Chunin Exams in another Hidden Village and it would take years for her to be promoted to Chunin otherwise.

It also helped that the Kyuubi's chakra provided Narumi with an extra layer of protection.

'Still can't believe that the Village Council's concerns turned out to be true for the first time."

And what a way it had been for them to come true?

During the second phase of the Chunin Exams, one of the most dangerous traitors of Konoha, Orochimaru had infiltrated the exam venue, the Forbidden Forest and his target had not been any examinee Genin but ANBU Captain Itachi Uchiha who was there for security detail.

Moreover, Naruto himself was there with Itachi at that time, having somehow managed to convince Itachi to take him along.

Thankfully, nothing had gone wrong as Itachi had been able to hold Orochimaru down while Naruto used one of his father's unique shuriken to summon him through his Flying Thunder God Jutsu.

Naruto's mother Kushina Uzumaki's heart had almost leapt out of her chest when she had learnt that Orochimaru had attacked Naruto.

She had been ready to take out her sword and hunt for Orochimaru in the entire Forbidden Forest but fortunately, his father had managed to stop her somehow.

'Looks like they are finally going to start.' Naruto came out of his thoughts as he looked at the podium where all the five Kages had finally arrived.

"The Great Chunin Exams is a great step towards achieving peace for the entire Elemental Nations. For the first time after several decades,......"

Naruto's father, the Fourth Hokage had only started his lecture when Naruto heard something.

Something which was going to change the Elemental Nations like never before.

[System Loading….. 100%]

It was a crisp and clear voice, sounding like it was coming from some kind of device yet it was completely emotionless, like the speaker was not even human.

Immediately, Naruto became alert and swept his surrounding with his eyes to form an understanding of the situation. The initial purview made him realise that everyone had heard the same voice as him.

The spectators were in confusion and he could see the hidden ANBU trying to find the source of the voice.

[Greetings, Elemental Nations! I, the Great System, have arrived with the glorious purpose of teaching you how to be a true Shinobi!]

The voice made some grand claims yet its tone was emotionless as if its claims were no great matter.

By now, everyone's eyes from the Five Kages to the common spectator's were wandering, trying to find the source of the voice. Yet all the attempts were turning out to be fruitless, as if the voice was everywhere.

[No longer shall great potential be buried in war! No longer shall it be destroyed just because it faced a stronger opponent!]

The ANBU were openly running around the entire stadium now as the voice's claims continued yet their search had no result.

[The First Event is about to begin!]

It was at this moment that a blue translucent screen suddenly materialised in front of Naruto.

These words not only sounded in Naruto's ears but were also written on the blue translucent screen.

Seeing the first trace of the voice in front of his eyes, Naruto immediately slashed at the screen with a kunai. However, the kunai passed through the screen effortlessly as if the screen didn't exist.

'Genjustsu? Kai!'

Thinking that the blue screen was a Genjutsu, Naruto formed a hand seal, releasing a burst of chakra from his body. Yet it had no effect on the blue screen in front of his eyes.

Before Naruto could begin thinking of how to interact with the screen, a timer of 10 seconds suddenly appeared beneath the words on the screen.

Realising that he didn't have much time, Naruto ran his eyes once again through the stadium to see if anyone was experiencing the same phenomenon as him.

Most of the spectators didn't seem to be seeing in front of their eyes but a single glance at the finalists' stands told him that their expression was unusual.

Could they be seeing the same screen as him?

However, Naruto couldn't continue his stream of thought as the timer turned to zero.

[Let the Chunin Exams Battle Royale begin!]

As Naruto started thinking what these words could mean, his vision suddenly turned white.

Author's Note— And so it begins!

As all of you can see, Naruto's situation in this world is different as his family is still alive and he also has a twin sister who has the Kyuubi sealed inside her instead of him. He is also hounded by the Village Council for CRA since he is supposedly the last male Uzumaki.

His personality is much closer to Boruto than the original Naruto. However, his twin sister Narumi's personality can be considered to be quite close to the original Naruto.

The rest of this world will be explored as the story continues.

[Chunin Exams Stadium- The Fourth Hokage]

Sometimes, Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, thought that Fate really had something against him.

After all, whenever he was about to enter a new chapter of his life, tragedy seemed to struck out of nowhere.

And it was not some common tragedy either but one with world-shaking effects.

When he had finally asked out the love of his life, Kushina Uzumaki and started dating her, the Third Shinobi War started.

When Kushina was about to give birth to their first children, a mysterious masked man struck and the Kyuubi Attack happened.

If it was not for the sacrifice of his predecessor, the Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi, he dared not think that his family would have survived.

And now, when the Five Hidden Villages had finally decided to sit on the same table and talk about peace, a mysterious voice had sounded out of nowhere with outrageous claims, ruining all of his plans.

"Any progress in finding the source of the voice, Itachi." Minato asked the ANBU Captain standing behind him, currently coordinating all the ANBU in the stadium to search for the mysterious voice's source.

Itachi Uchiha was one of the most prodigious Shinobi to ever come out of Konoha, already in line to be the next ANBU Commander despite being only a few years older than Minato's own children.

"No, Lord Hokage. The ANBU have not found any sort of device which could be broadcasting the voice." Itachi unfortunately answered in negative.

"But we have found something mysterious about the voice's broadcast. Everyone in the stadium has heard the voice equally, no matter what the location was. It was as if the voice was sounding right in their ears."

"Could the broadcast have been done through Genjustu? No, a Genjutsu would have been easily cought by the Kages. The only way would be Fuuinjutsu." Minato guessed.

Being a Fuuinjutsu Master himself, Minato knew that this Shinobi Art was capable of performing such an act.

"Lady Kushina had the same doubts. That is why she is currently sweeping the stadium to search for the traces of Fuuinjutsu. Though she has not found any meaningful results yet." Itachi reported that his wife had already joined the search.

Good! Kushina was the greatest Fuuinjutsu Master in Konoha, more knowledgeable in Fuuinjutsu that Minato himself. With her joining the search, Minato was sure that the culprit would be found soon.

"Hmph!! With the way the search is going, the ANBU will not be able to find the source today. Do you need my help, Lord Hokage? I could teach these young' uns something."

Surprisingly, Onoki, the Tsuchikage of Iwagakure offered his help despite the fact that he hated Minato as well as Konohagakure to his very bones because of the crushing defeat his Village faced in the Third Shinobi War against Konoha.

"I thank you for your kind support, Lord Tsuchikage. However, it would not give a good message if the Kages stepped up just because of mysterious voice broadcast." Minato replied, kindly declining Onoki's offer.

"Then, hurry up. It is already getting late." A, the Raikage of Kumogakure said impatiently.

""Still, I am surprised that the perpetrator only performed a voice broadcast with how resourceful he seems to be. He could launch a surprise attack and we would not have any inkling of it even at the last moment."

Rasa, the Kazekage of the Sunagakure questioned the motive of the perpetrator in a rather creepy voice. He looked rather suspicious today since he had not revealed his face ever since he took a seat. However, Minato knew that it was no time to investigate.

"I am sure that we will learn his intentions once we find—" Minato's remaining words remained stuck in his mouth as several pillars of light emerged from the stadium, with most of them appearing from the finalists' stands!

When the pillars of light disappeared, none of the people who were there were left. They had simply disappeared without any trace!

Realising the graveness of the situation, Minato immediately used his Space-Time Jutsu, the Flying Thunder God Jutsu and teleported to the finalists' stands.

However, to his surprise, he couldn't find even a single trace of any kind of chakra being used, much less a Space-Time Jutsu.

"Minato…" It was at this moment that a familiar female voice called him sorrowfully.

Turning around to look at the source of the voice, Minato found that it was his wife Kushina who had called him with tears in her eyes.

"Our children, Naruto, Narumi….. They are gone!" Kushina informed Minato tearfully.

"Don't worry, dear. We will definitely—"

"Reporting to Lord Hokage, I was escorting my student Satsuki Uchiha for the Great Chunin Exams when she suddenly disappeared in a pillar of light. The ANBU have found that the same phenomenon also happened to several Genin in the village."

Minato had not even started consoling his wife when his student Kakashi Hatake arrived to report that the same incident had happened in the entire village.

Minato couldn't even begin to think about what he should do. All of a sudden, not only his children but also several Shinobi of his village had disappeared and he didn't have even the slightest clue regarding where they could be.

Ding!

It was at this moment that a blue translucent screen appeared in the sky suddenly.

[Welcome to the Chunin Exams Battle Royale!]

Minato had just begun analysing the blue screen when he suddenly felt a huge surge of chakra along with the smell of ozone filling the air.

A humanoid figure covered in blue lightning jumped from the stands and headed right towards the blue screen!

The figure punched the blue screen but his body passed through it as if the screen didn't exist.

"Tch! Genjutsu!" The figure cursed as he landed in the stadium, revealing that he was actually A, the Raikage.

"Calm down, Lord Raikage! This opponent is far too tricky to be defeated by pure force." Lady Mei Terumi, the Mizukage of Kirigakure advised as she landed in the stadium with the rest of the Kages arriving right after her.

It was at this moment that the words on the screen changed.

[The Chunin Exams Battle Royale is the first event held by the System with unimaginable rewards. The participants are Genin Shinobi who are borderline Chunin level or already at Chunin level but have not been promoted.]

"A Battle Royale? You dare to pit our Shinobi against each other in a deathmatch and we are supposed to just watch!" Onoki said furiously as he read the words on the blue screen.

As if hearing Onoki's words, an extra set of words appeared below the previous text on the blue screen.

[Note— The Chunin Exams Battle Royale is an extremely realistic simulation world similar to a Genjutsu where Death is but a temporary defeat. Upon their defeat or death in the Battle Royale, the participants will be returned to the real world without even a single scratch on their body.]

"Not a single scratch, huh! This so-called System dares to abduct our Shinobi, put them in a deathmatch and then says that the deathmatch is just a Genjutsu. And we are supposed to believe it?" A, the Raikage said furiously, not believing system in the slightest.

However, the System seemed to have unheard his words as the words on the blue screen continued.

[Here is a Glimpse of the rewards the participants can obtain from the System!]

The words on the screen disappeared as the pictures of the supposed rewards appeared on the screen.

As soon as they saw the rewards, everyone's eyes widened in shock. For the rewards included several techniques which were near impossible to obtain in the entire Elemental Nations and some were outright impossible.

Hidden Villages' secret A-Rank and S-Rank Jutsu, including Raikage's 'Lightning Armour' and Minato's own 'Flying Thunder God Jutsu' and 'Rasengan'!

Not only that, there were also extinct Jutsu of former Kages such as Third Raikage's 'Hell Stab'. There was even Uzumaki Clan's Fuuinjutsu and Kenjutsu on the list.

"H-How did this System obtain our personal Jutsu? And these extinct techniques! They were buried in the history a long time ago. If this system really has such rewards, then—" Mei Terumi didn't there to even finish her words, realising what kind of effect this System could have on the Elemental Nations if its claims were, in fact, true.

At this moment, the Five Kages had realised that this System was definitely not the work of a man. Its origins were not simple if it could abduct so many Shinobi effortlessly and offer Jutsu of such tremendous power as mere rewards.

"Look! The screen has changed again." Kushina pointed at the blue screen as its contents changed again.

This time, there were no words but rather moving pictures on the screen. The screen was now divided in multiple parts, with each part showing a different Shinobi.

Though the multiple screens were now focusing on different Shinobi, there was one thing common in all of them. The environment was a giant, dense forest which actually looked rather similar to the Forest of Death, the exam venue of the second phase of the Chunin Exams.

"Look! There are Naruto and Narumi. Thank goodness they are alright." Kushina pointed two particular screens to Minato which showed their children.

Both Naruto and Narumi were combat ready, kunai in their hands as they looked at their surroundings warily.

"So, what should we do now, Lord Hokage? This System seems to be far more powerful than we initially thought it to be." Onoki asked Minato about their future plans since this incident had happened in Konoha.

"While this System's workings and intentions are unknown, we simply can't believe its words. We have no way of currently approaching our abducted Shinobi. But we will not lose hope. We will sweep through the entire Konoha, try to find even the slightest trace of this System. There is no way that we are going to let this System lord over us while we do nothing."

Minato declared as he looked at the giant blue screen in the sky, at his children which were currently trapped in a deathmatch.

Author's Note— I wanted to show how everyone reacts to the System's actions and doesn't simply accept it as many stories of these genre show.

Some perceptive readers may have found that there is Satsuki Uchiha rather than Sasuke Uchiha in this world.

The main reason for this genderbend is that I have not seen the Naruto anime and have only read several fanfictions along with a few snippets on YouTube. Though I would try my best to give you all a great experience.

[World of Battle Royale— The Uzumaki Heir]

"This so-called realistic simulation Genjutsu is really something."

Naruto thought as he looked at the sky of this Battle Royale world which seemed to be formed of hexagonal panels, a reminder that this world was a false one no matter how realistic it seemed to be.

He still had difficulty believing that such an illusory world could be created where even Death was an illusion.

Ding!

[The rules of the Chunin Exams Battle Royale are now being displayed. Please read them thoroughly as you will not get another chance to see them.]

The System's mechanical voice sounded as a blue screen materialised in front of Naruto displaying the rules of the Battle Royale.

(1) The area under the purview of the Battle Royale is a giant circle which will get smaller as time passes by. A mini-map has been provided for the participant's convenience which will relay the participant's location regarding the circle.

Note- If a participant steps outside the circle, he will be subjected to poisonous gas which will grant him a 'painful death' in just a few minutes.

(2) A participant can only leave the Battle Royale upon his 'death' or 'forfeit' upon his defeat at the hands of another participant.

Note- The 'forfeit' feature is only available to prevent a participant's torture in case of his capture upon his defeat. A forfeit will not be accepted if the participant still has combat power left.

(3) The Battle Royale will end when there are no participants left who are 'hostile' to each other.

The term 'hostile' doesn't apply to those participants who know each other and as such, can't fight to death with them.

(4) Warning! In order to have a fair match, each participant's chakra reserves have been limited to borderline Chunin level. The limited chakra reserves can be unsealed using certain rewards found in the Battle Royale.

The rest of the functions and rules will be explained later as the Battle Royale continues.

"Chakra reserves are limited to borderline Chunin level! What the fuck?"

Naruto couldn't help but curse as soon as he read the last rule. Immediately, he drawed upon his chakra reserves but the result was exactly what he had feared.

His borderline Jounin level chakra reserves had indeed been limited to borderline Chunin level. This level of chakra reserves was what he had during his Academy days!

It wasn't that the most of his chakra reserves had suddenly vanished. They were still there but he just couldn't access them for some reason.

"I hope that Narumi can manage her limited chakra reserves for this Battle Royale. Her Shadow Clone Jutsu is really chakra intensive."

Unlike his borderline Jounin level chakra reserves, his twin sister Narumi had nearly mid Jounin level chakra reserves. This made chakra manipulation really difficult for her but also enabled her to use some really chakra intensive Jutsu like Shadow Clone Jutsu easily.

"At least, the chakra limitation rule would prevent a monster like Gaara from wreaking havoc in the Battle Royale."

Naruto knew very well that the most dangerous opponent in this Battle Royale was Sunagakure's Gaara, the One Tailed Beast [Ichibi]'s Jinchuuriki.

Naruto didn't know what method Sunagakure had used to seal the Ichibi in Gaara but it was clearly faulty.

Gaara's psychotic behaviour clearly showed that he was being influenced by the Ichibi. His ruthless actions in the Chunin Exams preliminaries had already proved that he was but a bomb ready to explode at any time.

Naruto's father had already offered Lord Kazekage to take a look at Gaara's seal but the Kazekage had refused his offer by saying that Gaara's mother, the Kazekage's wife had sacrificed herself to empower the seal and that there was nothing wrong with it.

As Naruto read the rules one last time, he couldn't help but notice the 'hostility' clause. This clause basically prevented the participants from fighting their friends and acquaintances.

"But what if all the participants refused to fight each other from the start? Won't the Battle Royale then end immediately?" Naruto couldn't help but wonder.

Ding!

[The participant will realise how baseless this possibility is once he meets his first opponent.]

The System suddenly answered Naruto's question with a blue screen out of nowhere.

"Wait! What if—"

Thinking that the syystem may be willing to answer his doubts, Naruto asked a lot of questions to the System. But unfortunately, the System didn't answer even a single one of them. It was as if the first answer was just a courtesy.

Realising that questioning the system was meaningless, Naruto finally started moving towards the centre of a circle. After all, he had been spawned rather close to the circle's boundary which was slowly closing in towards him.

"A Shinobi!"

Naruto thought as he encountered a Shinobi after running for around 15 minutes.

The Shinobi was running ahead of Naruto and had not sensed him yet. Looking at his dark skin as well as his clothing, the Shinobi was likely from Kumogakure.

Naruto didn't have an understanding of the Kumo Shinobi's skill as most of them had not passed even the first Chunin Exams Test. Still, he had full confidence of defeating this guy as long as he had Genin or even Chunin level skill.

As the Kumo Shinobi was not aware of him yet, Naruto took full advantage of this opportunity and approached him as silently as possible.

Given that Naruto had trained with ANBU since his Academy days, this kind of basic stealth was just child's play for him.

Once he thought that he was close enough, Naruto pasted an explosive tag on a kunai and threw it at the Kumo Shinobi after attaching it with a chakra string.

The System had thankfully not prohibited the use of explosive tags and other Fuuinjutsu seals. And it was also fortunate that Naruto always had a set of explosive tags with him.

No matter how subpar Shinobi Kumo had sent for the Great Chunin Exams, any Shinobi worth his headband won't be taken out by a simple kunai.

As the kunai sailed towards the Kumo Shinobi, he reflexively tilted his head to avoid the kunai. However, that was Naruto's intention in the first place.

Kai (Release)!

Just as the kunai was passing by the Kumo Shinobi's head, Naruto activated the explosive tag on the kunai with the chakra string.

As the explosion happened right next to the Shinobi's head, his ear and even his brain to some extent was damaged by the explosion.

The Kumo Shinobi couldn't handle this much damage to such sensitive organs and crashed against a tree as a result.

While this kind of damage was enough to send a civilian into a coma, the Shinobi were made of harder stuff. Even though this Kumo Shinobi was just a Genin, he would be able to recover from this kind of damage in just a week if it was the real world.

"Forfeit! I don't want to kill you." Naruto said as he held a kunai to the Kumo Shinobi's throat.

"I-I forfeit!" The Kumo Shinobi was heavily disoriented by Naruto's attack but somehow declared his defeat.

[Calculating the participant's chance of victory against his opponent…… Less than 1%

The forfeit has been accepted!]

As the Kumo Shinobi's forfeit was accepted, his body was shrouded by a white light and soon vanished.

"Brother Itachi's trick worked perfectly. He really wasn't joking when he said that this trick would be enough to defeat most of the Genin."

The explosive tag and the chakra string was an ANBU strategy used often to deal with opponents of low level. Something Itachi had taught Naruto during his first bandit extermination mission.

'Wait a second! Why did I immediately attack that Kumo Shinobi without even trying to make contact with him? I am using not this aggressive."

Naruto couldn't help but question his sudden change in behaviour but unfortunately he couldn't find an answer.

Ding!

[As you have faced your first opponent, you should have realised that you recognised him as an enemy for no reason. This is because of the Enemy Recognition Jutsu cast all over the Battle Royale World. It makes the participants consider anyone did not have an impression of as an enemy.]

"Fuck! This System feels more insidious the more I learn about it."

Naruto cursed as the System's now familiar blue screen informed him of the Enemy Recognition Jutsu.

"Looks like I can only interact with Konoha Shinobi. Let's see if I can find Narumi. Hopefully, she is doing alright."

Naruto thought as he continued running, his thoughts filled with concerns regarding his dear twin sister.

Author's Note— The Chakra Reserve Limitation Rule is something I put in because I thought that it would make things more interesting. It was also to prevent power creep to some extent since this Battle Royale is Chunin Level.

[World of Battle Royale— The Kyuubi Jinchuuriki]

"Could this so-called system not have arrived a day or two later? I missed the chance to smash that bastard Neji's face."

Narumi thought as she moved through the artificial forest of the Battle Royale World.

She was furious that she didn't get a chance to fight her designated opponent Neji Hyuga in the finals. Neji had injured his cousin and Narumi's best friend, Hinata Hyuga severely during the preliminaries.

Neji, despite being a cousin of the Hyuga heir Hinata Hyuga, was a part of the branch Hyuga Clan which were basically treated as slaves by the main Hyuga Clan. This treatment had caused a great amount of hatred to fester in Neji towards the main clan.

'But Hinata didn't deserve any of his hatred or cruelty.'

Hinata, although a rather timid and shy girl, was one of the kindest person Narumi had ever known. She was empathic towards the branch Hyuga Clan and wanted to better their conditions.

However, despite knowing all this, Neji took advantage of Hinata's kindness and cruelly injured her. This was something Narumi could never forgive.

Narumi thought as she encountered her first opponent who was likely a Kiri Shinobi, given his blue Genin uniform.

As soon as Narumi neared the Kiri Shinobi, her hands habitually moved through the seals of her most used Jutsu, 'Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu'.

"Fuck!"

Narumi cursed as a massive amount of chakra started draining from her body. In her anger, she had forgotten about one of the most important rules of the Battle Royale and had habitually used the Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu without thinking twice.

It was only now she remembered that her chakra reserves were limited to Genin level in this Battle Royale World.

She immediately cut off the chakra supply, ending the Jutsu with only a single Shadow Clone summoned. However, just this single Shadow Clone had drained more than half of her chakra reserves.

The 'Shadow Clone Jutsu' was considered a forbidden Jutsu because of its heavy chakra usage, making it inefficient to use for most Shinobi. Unfortunately, being blessed with huge chakra reserves from the beginning, Narumi had never considered the Shadow Clone Jutsu a Forbidden one.

Given that she had just consumed huge amount of chakra reserves, Narumi decided to make do with what she had and ordered her Shadow Clone to engage the Kiri Shinobi, with herself following right after it.

The Kiri Shinobi had also noticed her by now and immediately engaged her Shadow Clone, the kunai in his hand ruthlessly trying to hit any of the clone's vulnerable spots.

However, as Narumi arrived to double team him with her Shadow Clone, the Kiri Shinobi made a large sweep with his kunai, causing her Shadow Clone to instinctively dodge backwards.

Taking advantage of the gap, the Kiri Shinobi jumped backwards and headed towards the trees. Meanwhile, he also dropped his kunai, his hands flicking through hand seals, obviously preparing for a Jutsu.

'Not on my watch.'

It was at this moment that Narumi used a move she generally didn't have a need to use not could see use it perfectly.

A glowing chain formed of chakra emerged from her right hand and wrapped around the Kiri Shinobi's leg, dragging him back before he could take cover in the trees.

The Kiri Shinobi was obviously not prepared for the sudden move and as such, couldn't react to it. Narumi's Shadow Clone took advantage of that and immediately slashed at the Kiri Shinobi's neck with her kunai, finishing him off.

'I should have listened to Naruto when he said that I should not rely too much on my chakra reserves.'

Narumi thought as she looked at the Kiri Shinobi's supposedly dead body while it disappeared in particles of light.

Narumi was training to be a Ninjutsu expert, her general course of action in a fight being to summon a few Shadow Clones and then prepare a massive Jutsu while her opponent was engaged with her Shadow Clones.

This was also the reason why she faced difficulty in the current fight. With her current Genin level chakra reserves, it was not possible for her to fight like her usual self.

"Thankfully, I still remembered my Chakra Chains."

The 'Chakra Chains' was a bloodline ability of Uzumaki Clan Narumi as well as her brother Naruto had inherited from their mother.

But unfortunately, Narumi was not proficient in this bloodline ability, barely able to manifest a single Chakra Chain while her brother could already manifest four or more easily.

'At this rate, I would be defeated by just sheer chakra deprivation. I should see if I can find a Konoha Shinobi to team up with.'

Narumi thought as she began moving again, realising that this Chunin Exams Battle Royale was really not fit for her moveset.

"Phew! Thank goodness Narumi made it through. My heart had almost left out of my chest when I saw her face pale because of Shadow Clone Jutsu."

Kushina let out a sigh of relief as she saw her daughter finally defeat the Kiri Shinobi.

"This was something inevitable. Even if Narumi made a rookie mistake because of unfamiliarity with the rules of the Battle Royale, she has been trained by you and Minato as well as the ANBU since her childhood. You should have some faith in her." Kushina's best friend, Mikoto Uchiha, the Uchiha Clan Matriarch said, asking her to believe in her children.

Since no one could do anything about this mysterious Battle Royale for the moment, Kushina and her friends whose children were also stuck in the Battle Royale World, were currently sitting in the stands, watching their children fight for their lives in the Battle Royale.

"You know how much Narumi is like me. Just as boisterous and impulsive as I used to be in my youth. I simply can't help but worry about her.

I never have to worry like this about Naruto. Just like his father, he is mature and intelligent. Though I wish he could sometimes act like the children his age. He has several burdens thrust upon him in such a young age."

Kushina said, sharing her worries with Mikoto as she started focusing on Naruto this time.

The blue screen which currently broadcasted the Battle Royale live had a unique way of broadcasting it. The viewers could look either at all the Shinobi currently in the Battle Royale or they could instead focus on a single Shinobi like Kushina and her friends were currently doing, looking at their children.

"I-Ino has encountered that monster Gaara!"

It was at this moment Ino Yamanaka's mother suddenly shouted, drawing all the women's attention.

"Don't worry. This Battle Royale is just a Genjutsu. Nothing would happen to Ino." Mikoto consoled Ino's mother, knowing that Ino's defeat was confirmed the moment she encountered Gaara.

Since all the Shinobi who had been defeated previously in the Battle Royale had safely arrived at the stadium in a burst of light without a single scratch, no one was worried about the participant's lives.

"B-but what about her mental health?" Ino's mother, being a member of the Yamanaka Clan which specialised in mind Jutsu, knew how much of an effect even an illusion of that could have on one's mind.

"Mother, where are you?"

When Ino encountered Gaara, his attention was not even on her. Instead, he was muttering something, constantly calling out for his 'Mother' without even paying attention to his surroundings.

"Mother, this is not funny! Where are you? Why are you not answering me?" Gaara's voice became louder as he didn't get a response from his supposed guardian spirit who he called 'Mother'.

"You! Have you seen Mother? Do you know why she is not answering me?" Gaara suddenly asked Ino in a demanding tone as his eyes fell on her.

"The one you are searching for is not your 'Mother'."

Surprisingly, Ino said the truth to Gaara bravely even though knew the consequences of such an action.

"What did you say?"

[Battle Royale World— The Young Psychiatrist]

"The one you are calling for, that voice in your head, it is not your 'Mother'. And it definitely doesn't have any good intentions for you." Ino repeated her words boldly, despite knowing how deranged Gaara currently looked.

"How dare you say that?" Gaara shouted furiously at Ino in response, the gourd containing sand on his back vibrating, as if to show his anger to the world.

"When the world was against me, Mother loved me. When the entire village turned its back to me, Mother listened to me. When my own uncle tried to kill me, Mother protected me."

All of a sudden, sand exploded from Gaara's gourd and headed towards Ino in the form of bullets.

Thankfully, Ino was already prepared for such an attack and swiftly moved between the trees for some cover. Yet, it just wasn't enough in the end.

Gaara's sand bullets were relentless, piercing through the trees and hitting Ino no matter how much she tried to hide. It was as if the problem of low chakra reserves doesn't even exist for Gaara for some reason.

"Ahh!! I forfeit!" Ino somehow manage to declare her forfeit before the sand bullets could batter her to death.

Ding!

[Calculating the participant's chance of victory……

Confirmed that the participant has no chance of obtaining victory against the opponent.

The participant's forfeit has been accepted.]

A white barrier of light formed around Ino, protecting her from the sand bullet barrage as she was teleported out of the Battle Royale World.

"Ino darling!"

Ino's mother rushed towards Ino and hugged her as soon as she arrived at the stadium.

"You okay, dear? Any problems? How are you feeling? I almost had a heart attack as I saw you being battered by those sand bullets."

She launched a barrage of questions as she embraced Ino, how worried she was for her daughter.

"Umm… Dear, I think you are crushing her." Ino's father Inoichi Yamanaka said to his wife as he arrived at the scene, pointing at their daughter who was being suffocated in her grasp.

"I am so sorry, dear! I was so worried about you that I didn't notice." Ino's mother apologized to her as she released her from her tight embrace.

"Ugh… It's alright, mother. You were just worried about me." Ino replied as she took deep breaths.

"To answer your question, I am alright, just feeling a little bit exhausted. Thankfully, I managed to forfeit in time."

"That's good. But what possessed you to question a monster like Gaara? You saw for yourself what kind of deranged person he was when he nearly killed your fellow Genin Rock Lee in the preliminaries?"

Inoichi asked his daughter in a scolding tone, furious that Ino had taken such a huge risk needlessly.

"Well, Gaara just seemed more lonely than deranged to me at that moment. Looking around, shouting and searching for his so called 'Mother', he trusted his 'Mother' more than the entire world. How can a person be like this? It was just incomprehensible to me." Ino explained the reasoning for her action.

"But did you have to do this in a deathmatch where he would have killed you without even thinking about it?" Inoichi argued back.

"It was because I had the safety net of the Battle Royale that I dared to talk like this. Otherwise I would have been to afraid to even approach him.

The moment I saw Gaara, I knew that my role in this Battle Royale was over. So, I thought, why not try to make him see some reason. Perhaps he may spare some poor fellow's life in the future because of my words."

"Oh, my daughter! You are so kind and thoughtful. Trying to see hope even in a hopeless situation." Inoichi said as he embraced his daughter upon hearing her words, feeling proud of her.

"But how did Gaara become like this? Isn't he the son of the Lord Kazekage? How could Lord Kazekage let this happen to his son?" Ino asked her father, puzzled by Gaara's situation.

"The reason is one of the state secrets of Sunagakure, something I can't tell you. Lord Hokage had already offered to help improve Gaara's condition but Lord Kazekage refused the offer, saying that Suna can handle this matter alone."

"Alright! Enough talk about that monster Gaara. Our dear daughter has just come out of a freaking deathmatch and you have the gall to question her endlessly." Ino's mother scolded her husband for his continuous questioning as she stopped their conversation.

"Come, dear!" She took Ino's hand and led her to the stands to take a seat.

"So many fights!" Ino muttered as she looked at the giant blue screen broadcasting the Battle Royale in the sky.

Every now and then, another Genin would arrive in the stadium from the Battle Royale, often touching his neck or other part of his body while his whole body was covered in sweat as he remembered his death in the Battle Royale.

Ding!

[The System has verified that almost half of the participants in the Battle Royale has been defeated.]

It would not have been more than 10 minutes after Ino took a seat that the System's cold voice sounded again, almost causing her to jump in fright.

[The next phase of the Chunin Exams Battle Royale will now begin.

Several treasure chests will now be airdropped from the sky, each containing great treasures.

Participants can use these great treasures to increase their chances of victory in the Battle Royale, provided they can actually nab them!

The blue screen changed again after the System's announcement ended. Several pictures of the treasures were shown in detail, each one greater than the other.

Chakra Reserve Enhancement Cards which could increase one's chakra reserves up to mid Chunin level without even a single drop in their chakra efficiency. It could also unseal a participant's chakra reserve if it had been sealed by the chakra reserve limitation rule.

Status Restoration Cards which came with several charges, each charge capable of completely healing the user as well as refilling their chakra reserves.

Jutsu Scrolls which could apparently release Jutsu instantly. There were even some Bloodline Release Jutsu among the Jutsu Scrolls.

But what were the most attractive were the Character Cards! This cards could provide the abilities of a real Shinobi to the user. This for something unreal even though the Character Cards offered were only of Genin level Shinobi.

But what was even more unreal was that the Character Cards also contained Genin level characters from Uchiha, Hyuga and many other bloodline clans.

"This, this!!"

Ino could see just how much attractive these treasures would be for the participants.

However, while a normal participant would only see the treasures, being a student in psychology, Ino could easily perceive the underlying reason for the sudden airdrops.

The Chunin Exams Battle Royale was now going to be much, much bloodier!

Author's Note— The first part of this chapter was supposed to be included in the previous chapter but I couldn't add it because of time constraints.

As such, I decided to develop Ino's story a little since she is not a fangirl in this world. Besides, I always disliked that she is generally seen only as a pretty face.

"Fuck, this System really doesn't want us to take even a single moment to relax!"

Naruto cursed in his mind as his kunai stabbed into the throat of an Iwa Shinobi. Then, he immediately started running towards the nearest airdrop location, not even pausing to see his opponent's body vanish.

After all, he had to get that airdrop even if he cursed this feature suddenly implemented by the system in the Battle Royale. Because his chances of surviving this Battle Royale would be really low if other participants upskilled themselves with the treasures from the airdropped treasure chests and he got left behind.

And Naruto had no intention of dying in this Battle Royale even it was only a false death.

'Looks like I am the first.'

Naruto thought as he arrived at a clearing where an airdrop was slowly descending from the sky.

'Or not!'

It was only after he made a sweep of the entire clearing that Naruto's eyes fell on a Konoha Shinobi who was sitting nearby under a tree's canopy.

The Konoha Shinobi had narrow brown eyes and his shoulder length spiked black hair was tied in a ponytail. For some reason, he had a bored expression on his face despite knowing how dangerous this Battle Royale was.

Strangely, the Konoha Shinobi's eyes were not on the clearing but towards the sky. He was simply watching the artificial sky quietly while sitting on the ground, as if trying to contemplate the meaning of life.

While his actions may seem weird to anyone, they were all too familiar to Naruto. For the Konoha Shinobi was none other than Shikamaru Nara, one of Naruto's childhood friends and someone Naruto called a 'Lazy Genius'.

"Hey, Shika…."

"Ha ha ha! It must really be my day to find a tree hugger alone."

Naruto was about to call Shikamaru when a Kumo Shinobi suddenly arrived in the clearing.

"Are you blind? Did you seriously not see the other Shinobi?"

Naruto pointed towards Shikamaru who was watching the sky so intently that his presence had not even been registered by the Kumo Shinobi.

"Shikamaru, get up! If you don't, I will tell your mother after getting out of the Battle Royale." Naruto called out to Shikamaru, threatening him since he knew how lazy Shikamaru could be.

"Troublesome!"

Shikamaru cursed but stood up, prepared for the fight.

"..... Two tree huggers, what bad luck! Whatever, I will be happy as long as I can take out even a single one." The Kumo Shinobi said with a curse as he suddenly started going through hand seals.

In response, Naruto simply threw a kunai with an explosive tag at him.

The Kumo Shinobi obviously tried to dodge the kunai but found that his body was not listening to him all of a sudden, simply stuck in his current position.

The kunai easily pierced in the Kumo Shinobi's neck and then Naruto exploded the tag on it, taking him out.

As his body vanished in light particles, a line of shadow could be seen at the Kumo Shinobi's former location, extending from Shikamaru's shadow.

It was Shikamaru's Shadow Imitation Jutsu which had paralysed the Kumo Shinobi at the right moment, allowing Naruto to finish him off.

Shikamaru had casted the Shadow Imitation Jutsu at the right moment, obtaining maximum results with the least amount of chakra utilized.

"Your Shadow Imitation Jutsu is much faster than before." Naruto complemented Shikamaru, noticing his improvement.

"Blame Mother! She took over my training once she found that I qualified for the Chunin Exams finals." Shikamaru explained in a tired tone.

"Still, you shouldn't daydream in such a dangerous place, Shika…. Get ready!"

Naruto suddenly alerted Shikamaru as he saw a few Shinobi approaching them.

"Well, I never thought that I would meet my lazy ass opponent here."

A female voice sounded as three Suna Shinobi stepped into the clearing. The one who had spoken was their leader, a blonde haired Kunoichi with a giant fan on her back.

Naruto and Shikamaru knew her all too well. Temari of Sand, lone daughter of the Kazekage and Shikamaru's designated opponent in the Great Chunin Exams finals.

"Wait! I believe that we can—"

"No time for talking! We are here for the airdrop." Temari interrupted Naruto's attempt at negotiation as she held her giant fan in her hands and made a huge sweep with it towards the two of them.

Wind Release— Wind Scythe Jutsu

Slicing wind blades coursed towards Naruto and Shikamaru but they easily dodged them with a well placed Substitution Jutsu, leaving wood logs in their place.

"Shikamaru, you face your designated opponent. I will finish the rest."

Naruto ordered Shikamaru as the both of them appeared underneath a nearby tree and then vanished immediately in the artificial forest.

"Troublesome!" Shikamaru cursed tiredly but still went back to face Temari and the others.

"Finally gathered enough courage to face us. But where is the other one? Don't tell me that he ran away." One of the other Suna Shinobi taunted Shikamaru.

However, Shikamaru didn't reply and simply casted his signature Shadow Imitation Jutsu. A black line extended from his shadow and approached the three Suna Shinobi.

But the three were already prepared for Shikamaru's Jutsu and stepped back, away from the range of the Shadow Imitation Jutsu.

"What are you gonna do now, Lazyass? Your Shadow Imitation Jutsu can't reach us." Temari mocked Shikamaru as she held her giant fan in her hand once again.

"Ahh!!"

Before Temari could cast her Wind Scythe Jutsu again, a figure suddenly erupted from underneath a Suna Shinobi. The figure stabbed the Suna Shinobi's neck ruthlessly and disappeared again in the whole he had appeared from after the job was done.

Earth Release— Hiding Like a Mole Jutsu

"The other Shinobi! Be alert, he is still underground!" Temari alerted the remaining Suna Shinobi as she realised that it was Naruto's work.

Just as Temari had expected, Naruto erupted again from underground, this time targeting her.

Since she had a prior warning, Temari easily dodged Naruto's underground assault with a sidestep and even took out her giant fan for a counterattack.

But to her surprise, Naruto focused not on her but the other Suna Shinobi. Several chains formed of chakra manifested from his back and ties his target before he could even notice.

"Gotcha! Ugh!!"

Temari tried to swing her fan at Naruto but found that her body was suddenly paralysed.

But how! She had taken care to not fall in Shikamaru's range.

It was only then she noticed the black line of Shadow Imitation Jutsu entering the first hole and then exiting from the second hole to link her shadow.

Naruto had used the 'Hiding Like a Mole Jutsu' not only for attacking but also to create an opportunity for Shikamaru!

"Great job, Shikamaru. Our team work is as impeccable as ever." Naruto complemented their teamwork as he finished the last Suna Shinobi.

Being childhood friends, Naruto and Shikamaru had practiced together quite a lot and as a result, their teamwork was near perfect.

"Now, tell me why you attacked us suddenly. As we already know each other and our villages are allies, we could have worked together. But you attacked us without listening to even a single word of ours." Naruto questioned Temari.

"Unfortunately, this is not something I can answer." Temari resolutely refused to answer his question.

"Be careful of Gaara. He won't give you an opportunity to surrender. I forfeit!" She only warned them of Gaara before declaring her forfeit.

Ding!

[The participant's forfeit has been accepted!]

"It is so easy for her. I forfeit as well!" Shikamaru declared his forfeit all of a sudden as he was Temari disappear in a burst of light.

Ding!

[Participant Shikamaru Nara is combat ready with his chakra reserves at more than 50%.

The forfeit is not accepted!]

"And here I thought I could get away easily." Shikamaru said sullenly as his forfeit was cancelled.

"Stop fooling around, Shikamaru. Look, the airdrop is here!" Naruto pointed at the airdrop chest which had finally descended to the ground.

The two of them hurriedly opened the treasure chest, revealing a scroll as well as two cards inside.

Naruto first took out the scroll and opened it, revealing a picture of a dragon formed of water on it.

"B-Rank Jutsu Scroll [Water Release— Water Dragon]. You would know when is the right time to use it, Shikamaru. Take it, it's yours." Naruto gave the scroll to Shikamaru, knowing the lazy genius would be able to use it well.

Naruto then took out a card which had the picture of a Shinobi sitting in meditation with chakra bursting out of his body.

[Chakra Reserve Enhancement Card]

"Finally!" Naruto immediately used the card as soon as he read what this card did.

In an instant, Naruto's limited chakra reserves shot up from borderline Chunin level to mid Chunin level.

While this level was still not his peak, it was more than enough for Naruto to use some of his heavy hitter Jutsu. He had never thought that he would miss his chakra reserves so much one day.

"Oh, the last one is a Character Card! And it is an Uchiha at that!"

Naruto exclaimed as he looked at the last card.

[Battle Royale World— The Kyuubi Jinchuuriki]

"You are rather lacking for a daughter of the Fourth Hokage. I had honestly believed that you would be much better." The Iwa Shinobi fighting Narumi taunted her as he defended himself against her assault.

He had a big body, likely a budding Taijutsu expert since he could easily fend off Narumi's continuous attacks.

"Shut up!!" Narumi shouted furiously as she kicked at the Iwa Shinobi, causing him to dodge backwards. However, that was what Narumi was actually aiming for.

She also stepped backwards, creating distance between them as her hands swiftly moved through a few hand seals.

Wind Release— Gale Palm

A huge gust of wind erupted from Narumi's hands as she threw a pair of shuriken, causing them to head towards the Iwa Shinobi at incredible speeds.

Since the Gale Palm was just a C-Rank Jutsu with only a few hand seals, Narumi's counterattack left the Iwa Shinobi with no time to react as the shurikens hit his body with great speed, finishing him off.

"I really should not have used the Shadow Clone Jutsu before. With how my chakra reserves currently are, I can only use one or two more Jutsu."

Narumi cursed her impulsiveness for the umpteenth time as she continued moving towards the nearest airdrop location.

Due to her encounter with the Iwa Shinobi, she had already been delayed. The airdrop was already near the tree line and Narumi feared that she would not be able to continue if she didn't get a Chakra Reserve Enhancement Card from the airdrop chest.

As Narumi approached the clearing in which the airdrop was descending, she heard sounds of fighting. Immediately, she stopped running and started stealthily creeping towards the clearing.

"Ahh!!"

However, when Narumi arrived at the clearing, a burst of flame suddenly exploded near her along with the scream of a Shinobi sounding nearby, causing her to immediately duck underneath a tree.

After the flames started cooling down, Narumi slowly peeked from behind the tree, finding that only three Shinobi remained in the clearing, two of them facing the last one.

Moreover, the airdrop was right above their head, about to descend in a few minutes!

The two Shinobi were likely from Amegakure, a minor Hidden Village, which could be seen from their unique hats and masks that were built specifically to protect against rain.

The last one, on the other hand, was a Kunoichi Narumi knew all too well.

Black hair, a beautiful face and eyes blazing with Sharingan, she was Satsuki Uchiha, a Chunin Exams finalist and Narumi's teammate in their Team 7.

However, her condition didn't look good at all. Her body was stained in sweat as well as cut in several places while her face looked a little pale, likely from a lack of chakra as well as stamina. Even her Sharingan had started to flicker.

"As expected of a finalist, you are a tough one. You faced three of us together after defeating another pair of Genin and still defeated one of us. However, in the end, you are still human. Looks like you don't have much energy left. Ha ha ha!!" One of the Amegakure Shinobi laughed at Satsuki, knowing how fatigued she was.

'Satsuki's condition doesn't look good. I need to take down at least one of them with my last Jutsu." Narumi thought as she planned her next move. Fortunately, the attention of the Amegakure Shinobi was on Satsuki and they hadn't sensed her despite how close she was.

Narumi's hands moved quickly through hand seals as she used the last bit of her chakra.

Wind Release— Beast Tearing Palm

Narumi's right hand manifested a huge amount of wind chakra which she then swiped at the two Amegakure Shinobi, releasing a slicing wind wave towards them.

The Amegakure Shinobi noticed the Jutsu at the last moment and tried to dodge but it was unfortunately too late for them.

The wind wave sliced the first Shinobi straight at his chest, injuring him fatally while also slicing the second one at his side.

At first, Satsuki was surprised by the sudden attack but adapted quickly and attack the second Amegakure Shinobi, stabbing him in the neck after fending off his last wild moves.

"Phew! I could take care of them myself." Satsuki said to Narumi pridefully as she took deep breaths.

"Would you have said the same words if it was Naruto instead of me?" Narumi taunted her teammate with a smile.

"You!" Satsuki's cheeks blushed red due to embarrassment as she couldn't reply to Narumi's taunt.

Naruto and Satsuki's relationship was quite peculiar, mostly because of Satsuki herself.

Both of their families had always been close because of the fact that that their mothers Kushina Uzumaki and Mikoto Uchiha were best friends. Moreover, Mikoto's only son Itachi Uchiha had been training Naruto since his Academy days.

However, Satsuki once heard her parents talk about a potential marriage to Naruto.

Since she was a fiercely independent girl, this made her mostly avoid Naruto for around a year before she realised that the talk was just a what if.

Naruto, on the other hand, didn't think much of it as he was busy training with Itachi.

However, now that puberty had hit Satsuki, she had somehow developed a little crush on Naruto but she couldn't approach him because of sheer embarrassment. This often made her a target of Narumi's teasing who knew how she felt.

"This is no time for such talk. Look, the airdrop is here. Let's see if it was worth me draining my very last drop of chakra." Satsuki snapped back as she pointed towards the airdrop which had finally descended.

"It is not like my chakra reserves are any better." Narumi replied as both of them rushed towards the airdrop chest.

The treasure chest opened to reveal two cards and two scrolls inside. Both girls picked up a card since it was the item likely to contain the solution to their problems.

"Does this System know what we need?" Satsuki questioned Narumi as she showed her the card in her hand.

[Status Restoration Card— 2 Charges]

"It could be true. After all, I also got what I wanted." Narumi replied in affirmative as she showed Satsuki that she had a [Chakra Reserve Enhancement Card] in her hand, the card she specifically wanted.

Both girls nodded at each other in affirmation as they immediately used the cards in their respective hands.

"This card's function feels almost heavenly." Satsuki exclaimed as the Status Restoration Card basked her in light particles, healing her injuries and restoring her chakra reserves almost instantly.

"Finally! My dear chakra reserves, I missed you so much." Narumi almost had tears in her eyes as her chakra reserves were increased to mid Chunin level.

"Let's see what the scrolls contain." Satsuki said as she picked one of the scrolls.

"Jackpot! B-Rank Jutsu Scroll [Storm Release— Laser Circus]. It's a Bloodline Release." Satsuki said excitedly as she showed Narumi the Jutsu Scroll depicting lightning bolts moving in a curved pattern.

"You should use it, Narumi. It's a precision Jutsu and you could definitely use some precision given how blunt you are."

"Hey, I can be precise too!" Narumi snapped back as she received the Jutsu Scroll. Then, she opened the last Jutsu Scroll to see what mysterious Jutsu it contained.

"Huh! This Jutsu looks weird!" Narumi exclaimed as she looked at the depiction of a panther formed entirely of black lightning on the scroll.

"[Black Lightning Release— Shadow Panther]"

"Could it be a Hidden Village's secret Jutsu?" Satsuki guessed as this lightning Jutsu was also foreign to her despite the fact that her Uchiha Clan were notorious for their Jutsu library they had copied with their Sharingan.

"Then, it's another jackpot. I think you should use it, Satsuki. Between the two of us, you are the one more experienced with Lightning Jutsu. Not to mention that your main element is Lightning so you might learn something from this unique Jutsu." Narumi suggested as she thrusted the Jutsu Scroll towards Satsuki.

"Alright!" Satsuki said as she gladly accepted the Jutsu Scroll.

"Sweet! Now that you are with me and we have these Jutsu Scrolls, nothing can stop us." Narumi said with a large smile, as if she had already forgotten her previous hardships.

[Omake— The Third Scroll]

"The last two Jutsu Scrolls were bangers. Let's see what is in the last one." Narumi said excitedly as Satsuki opened the last Jutsu Scroll.

"I-I didn't know that Naruto had this kind of habit." Satsuki suddenly said with a red face as she looked at the Jutsu Scroll.

"Where did my brother come from?" Narumi said, confused by Satsuki's words. In response, Satsuki showed her the Jutsu Scroll.

"This can't be possible." Narumi shouted as she looked at the scroll.

On the Jutsu Scroll was depicted a genderbent Naruto with some great bouncy 'assets" wearing a bikini while making a sexy pose.

[Chunin Exams Stadium— The Fourth Hokage]

"Satsuki Uchiha, that girl would have died if your daughter had not saved her, Lord Hokage. It was extremely rash for her to engage so many Shinobi when she didn't even have a proper motive for fighting them except for the airdrop. It is certainly no quality for a Chunin."

Onoki, the Tsuchikage commented as he looked at Satsuki and Narumi's fight for the airdrop, noticing that Satsuki was quite stubborn.

"Perhaps she just wanted to give her best since there was no fear of death in the Battle Royale. After all, she has always wanted to become a great Shinobi like her brother Itachi." Minato replied with a chuckle, having known Satsuki since her childhood.

"Then, she really has a long way to go. At her age, her brother was already killing Jounin." Onoki said with a snort.

"That boy Neji is not bad though. He is quite skilled for a Hyuga his age. His teammate Tenten's weapon technique is also quite strong though she is definitely not Chunin material currently."

Mei Terumi, the Mizukage said as she looked at another battle for the airdrop where Neji and his teammate Tenten had achieved victory. They had been fairly lucky for their airdrop battle as they only had to fight three Shinobi for the airdrop.

However, as a result, the treasures they had obtained from the air drop were also underwhelming. Just two Status Restoration Cards along with a B-Rank Jutsu Scroll.

"Hmph! If we are talking about talent, we just need to look at Lord Hokage's son Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze.

The boy fights more like an ANBU then a Genin his age. Where have you been hiding this boy, Lord Hokage? How come you did not let him participate in the Great Chunin Exams while your daughter did?"

A, the Raikage asked accusingly as he pointed at Naruto and Shikamaru who had already finished looting the treasures from the airdrop and were on their way to the centre.

"Blame the Village Council. They didn't want to see the last male heir of the Uzumaki Clan in a Chunin Exams which had all five major Hidden Villages participating. It just looked too risky for them. Especially since Naruto could easily participate in the next Chunin Exams or simply be promoted on the basis of merit." Minato explained the reason.

"It seems that even the legendary Yellow Flash can't escape the cesspool that is politics. Never thought that I would see a day where the almighty Minato Namikaze would be brought down not by a Shinobi but by near paper pinchers." Onoki said mockingly, releasing the fact that Minato couldn't do anything against the Konoha Village Council's decision.

"Hmph! In Iwagakure, no one dares to protest any of my decisions, much less tell me what to do."

"That is simply because you are older than all of them, you old coot." A replied with a snort.

"When it is completely understandable for the village Council to not want the Uzumaki Heir two participate in a Chunin Exams in which the Hidden Villages who destroyed his clan were participating." Rasa, the Kazekage said with a chuckle, reminding the Kages that it was Kiri, Kumo and Iwa who had destroyed the home of the Uzumaki Clan, Uzushiogakure.

For some reason, Rasa's behaviour today was quite different from what Minato remembered. Not to mention that he had still not revealed his face since he had taken a seat.

It is just that Minato had no time to look into this matter because of the system and the ongoing Battle Royale.

"There is no need for Lord Kazekage to tear open old wounds. There is no Kage among us except Lady Mizukage who has not committed atrocities against other Hidden Villages. Despite that, we are all sitting here because we simply want a better future for our villages." Minato said seriously, reminding Rasa why the Great Chunin Exams had been held in the first place.

"Still, this System feels more unfathomable as the Battle Royale continues. The two Jutsu Satsuki Uchiha and Narumi Namikaze found in the airdrop, they were Kumo secret Jutsu. Especially the Shadow Panther Jutsu, that one is a Black Lightning taught only to the Raikage's lineage and can only be used with the help of a specific seal." A said, concerned about the System's might as he recognised the Jutsu Narumi and Satsuki obtained from the airdropped treasure chest.

"Could this System really want to help Shinobi reach their true potential as it proclaims? After all, the treasures it has granted to mere Genin in the Battle Royale are so great that even Jounin would fight over them." Minato said since he couldn't find any other reason why this system would spend so much resources on a Battle Royale between mere Genin.

"If this is what the System desires, then its way of doing it is way too brutal. The airdrops have pitted the participants against each other, resulting in great bloodbaths. Really does any battle for an airdrop ends with more than a single survivor. And even then, the survivorous only end up surviving because of their luck, not because of their skill." Mei Terumi said as she looked at the stadium ground where the defeated participants were appearing one after another, their faces filled with the horror of the brutal battles they had faced.

Among them were some Shinobi who were supposed to fight in today's finals. Shino Aburame and Kankuro of Sand were two finalists who were supposed to fight each other today. There was also Kiba Inuzuka, someone who had reached Chunin Exams Preliminaries before being defeated by Narumi.

The three of them had fought for the same airdrop along with several other Shinobi, the resultant battle being a free for all which left no survivor remaining.

Shino Aburame controlled chakra siphoning bugs while Kankuro fought with puppets outfitted with several sinister ninja tools. Kiba Inuzuka was no slouch either, capable of dealing massive damage with the help of his ninken Akamaru who the System had let participate with Kiba for some reason.

However, their opponents also new how powerful they were and banded together to deal with them. They showered Elemental Jutsu at the three of them, draining every single drop of their chakra.

The result was that Shino, Kiba and Kankuro were forced to forfeit but not before the last of their opponents were poisoned from the poisonous blades of Kankuro's puppets.

"Speaking of the brutality, doesn't this Battle Royale remind you of Kiri's previous Shinobi program. Though it was much more brutal, what with only one Shinobi surviving per nearly hundred prospects.

And inefficient too! After all, why waste hundred potential Shinobi when they could easily be of use to you with the help of a more strenous training regime."

Rasa said, mocking Kiri's brutal training program under Mei Terumi's predecessor Yagura in an attempt to antagonize her.

"I know it all too well, Lord Kazekage. After all, it was because of Third Mizukage's madness that we had to rebel to take Kiri from his hands." Mei Terumi answered in agreement, not willing to antagonize any Hidden Village while Kirigakure was still rebuilding after the Rebellion.

In fact, this was the reason why Kirigakure had not sent many Genin for the Great Chunin Exams. They simply couldn't afford to so soon after the Rebellion.

"It won't be long before the Battle Royale ends. They are not many Shinobi remaining and the circle has also become quite small." Mei reminded the Kages as she pointed at the circle's size. At the rate the circle was shrinking, it would be the size of an average training ground in just an hour.

"It won't be possible for any participant to win the Battle Royale unless Gaara of the Sand is dealt with." Onoki said as he pointed towards Gaara Shinobi which included Konoha Shinobi such as Sakura Haruno and Choji Akimichi.

"Gaara's mental estate has turned for worse since he entered the Battle Royale for some reason. Not to mention that his chakra reserves have increased after he obtained a Chakra Reserve Enhancement Card from an airdrop. As such, he is now near his full strength."

"The Battle Royale will not end unless Gaara is defeated or he defeats every other Shinobi in the Battle Royale." Minato said, realising that there was no other option.

Gaara was actually not the final boss in the original draft. It was going to be Kabuto with Jounin level single use Character Cards being used in the Battle. However, I decided to make the story grounded in the end.

[Battle Royale World— The Uzumaki Heir]

'Sharingan is amazing!'

Naruto thought gleefully as he fought an Iwa Shinobi with purely Taijutsu, detecting his opponent's moves and obstructing them before they could even begin.

"You!!"

The Iwa Shinobi attempted to create some distance in order to cast a Jutsu since he could not obtain an advantage in Taijutsu. However, Naruto easily recognised his intentions with the help of his newly obtained Sharingan.

Realising that his opponent had nothing more to offer him, Naruto took out a kunai in each of his hands and closed the distance, aiming for the Iwa Shinobi's neck.

With his Sharingan and superior Taijutsu experience, it was a piece of cake for Naruto to finish off the Iwa Shinobi no matter how much you tried to prevent it.

"So, how was the trial run?" Shikamaru asked in his usual tired tone as he stepped down from a nearby tree, having been on lookout while Naruto tested the two tomoe Sharingan he had obtained from the Character Card.

"The Iwa Shinobi was likely a straggler who didn't battle for an airdrop since he didn't have a Jutsu Scroll or any kind of card with him. Still, he fought well enough for me to find what could I do with a two tomoe Sharingan." Naruto replied.

"Using a Sharingan feels amazing! Even though it is only a two tomoe Sharingan, I feel like I can fight toe-to-toe with a Jounin."

"Don't let any Uchiha hear you. Otherwise, it will be really troublesome. The Uchiha will literally die of shame." Shikamaru said upon seeing how confident Naruto was just because of a mere two tomoe Sharingan which literally every Uchiha Shinobi could obtain with a little hard work and experience.

"Though I wonder who this 'Sasuke Uchiha' is? He knows Brother Kakashi's Chidori Jutsu which he has never taught to anyone." Naruto thought out aloud.

The Character Card not only contained the Bloodline Ability of the Character depicted in it but also the Jutsu he or she knew. In Sasuke Uchiha's case, he only knew some Fire Jutsu with Chidori being the exception.

"You can ask Kakashi directly once we are out of this Battle Royale. It is too troublesome to think about it here." Shikamaru advised as the two of them continued on their way towards the centre.

"The circle is much smaller now. At the rate it is shrinking, we would be face to face with all the remaining Shinobi in about half an hour." Naruto said as he looked at the minimap where showed the circle shrinking rapidly.

"But we still have barely seen any Shinobi, much less those who have a treasure from an airdrop. Perhaps The other battles for airdrops were much more brutal compared to ours." Shikamaru guessed, seeing that the artificial forest still looked empty despite how small the circle had become.

"Shinobi ahead!"

Naruto warned Shikamaru as he sensed the presence of a few Shinobi approaching them from a certain direction.

Sharingan blazing in his eyes and kunai in his hands, Naruto was ready to engage the Shinobi when he noticed that they were the Konoha uniform.

"Narumi!!"

Naruto shouted as he saw with his Sharingan that it was actually his sister along with Satsuki Uchiha who were approaching them.

"Brother!"

Narumi ran with her entire might as soon as she heard her dear twin brother's voice and leapt into his arms.

"Can't believe that you are actually here!" She whispered in Naruto's arms as she hugged him.

"Now that we are all together, it would be a piece of cake for us to pass this Battle Royale." Naruto said softly as he patted Narumi's head.

"Ack! Where did you get a Sharingan!" Narumi exclaimed as she raised her head from Naruto's embrace and finally took a proper look at his face, only to see his eyes blazing with Sharingan.

"That is what I want to know too." Satsuki asked in a rather excited voice.

"Actually, it is because of the [Character Card] we obtained from the airdrop which depicted an Uchiha." Naruto explained.

"No way you obtained a [Character Card]! We only got Jutsu Scrolls along with Chakra Enhancement as well as Status Restoration Cards. Though the Jutsu Scrolls did contain rare Jutsu we had never seen before." Narumi said, surpriseed that Naruto had actually pulled a [Character Card] from the airdrop.

"Well, we had to fight Temari of the Sand to get the air drop. Not to mention that we only got a single Chakra Reserve Enhancement Card along with a Jutsu Scroll other than the [Character Card]." Naruto replied with a shrug.

"How did you even qualify for the Battle Royale in the first place? Aren't you already at Chunin level? Father even said that if you were given a chance to set up the field with your Fuuinjutsu, you could actually fight a Jounin." Narumi asked, puzzled by Naruto's presence in the Battle Royale.

"The System did say that Genin who have Chunin level battle prowess but have not been promoted to Chunin are qualified for the Battle Royale. And I am still a Genin on paper." Naruto answered. He had long thought about why he had been selected.

"By the way, you said that you found a Chakra Reserve Enhancement Card. How are your chakra reserves currently?" Naruto asked, knowing how much chakra his sister wasted carelessly.

"At mid Chunin level, around 80%. There should be no problem in throwing around some big Jutsu." Narumi reported.

"Good! Just stay in the back from—"

"Ahm!! I don't want to stop your sibling reunion but the circle is approaching." Satsuki said, interrupting their conversation as she reminded them of the approaching circle.

"Alright!" Naruto nodded his head as all of them continued towards the centre.

However, they would not have run for more than 10 minutes when they had to stop.

"Please save Neji! I beg of you. He remained behind to stop that monster Gaara." Tenten of Team 9 asked them as they encountered her, her eyes filled with tears and body stained with sand as she asked them to save her teammate Neji Hyuga.

"Please calm down. Tell us what happened." Naruto said softly as he asked Tenten to tell everything.

"We were near the centre of the circle when we met that monster Gaara."

A few minutes earlier…….

"Mother, answer me! Why are you not saying anything? I can use your power but I can't hear your voice." Gaara continued to mumble pleading words for his 'Mother' as he walked, ignoring Neji and Tenten's existence.

"Your 'Mother' is not answering because she doesn't exist at all." Neji said coldly, attracting Gaara's attention.

Neji and Tenten already had a negative impression of Gaara since he had crippled their teammate Rock Lee in the Chunin Exams Preliminaries.

"How can you say that? First that blonde girl and now you! Why do you all deny Mother's existence? I will destroy all of you." Gaara said furiously as sand exploded from the gourd on his back.

"You are on!" Neji replied, his Byakugan activating.

"We will take Lee's revenge!" Tenten said as several shurikens appeared in her hand.

Tenten threw a bunch of shuriken at Gaara to attract his attention while Neji closed in.

"Pitiful!" Gaara remarked coldly as he shot several sand bullets, knocking the shuriken out of air and then targeting the two Shinobi, though they somehow managed to dodge it.

"Both of you are simply not worth my effort." Gaara said ruthlessly as a huge flood of sand moved towards the two of them with a simple wave of his hand.

"Tenten!" Neji shouted, signalling his teammate.

Upon hearing Neji's voice, Tenten unfurled the Jutsu Scroll they had obtained from the airdrop and activated it.

Water Release— Exploding Water Colliding Wave

A huge wave of water erupted from the Jutsu Scroll and collided with the sand flood, engulfing it and then continuing towards Gaara who had to encase himself in a sand barrier for protection.

Neji, seeing that most of the sand in Gaara's gourd was temporarily immobilized because of the water wave, rushed forward, realising that this could be his only chance to defeat Gaara.

Eight Trigrams— Vacuum Palm Wall

Neji released a burst of chakra from both of his palms at Gaara's sand barrier, breaking it and revealing Gaara's body.

He then positioned himself into Hyuga Clan's signature Gentle Fist stance as his palms stabbed at Gaara's chakra points.

Eight Trigrams— 2 Palms

However, as Neji's palms hit Gaara's body, he found that they only touched sand, not Gaara's skin. Gaara had encased his body with sand for defence already!

Neji immediately abandoned his offence upon this realisation and suddenly started moving his body in a certain rotating motion, releasing a constant stream of chakra from his body which formed a temporary barrier around himself.

Eight Trigrams— Rotation

It was this sudden action which allowed Neji to save himself as a pillar of sand erupted from underneath his body, sending him flying.

"Neji!"

Seeing that Neji was in danger, Tenten activated several storage scrolls, releasing a shower of several weapons at Gaara.

Unfortunately, her desperate move did nothing as the weapon shower simply couldn't pierce through Gaara's barrier.

"You are not even worth fighting!" Gaara said coldly upon seeing Tenten's pitiful attack as he attacked her with a giant sand palm, intending to finish her off.

"Tenten!!"

Eight Trigrams— Vacuum Palm

Neji released a Vacuum Palm at the sand palm as soon as he landed, thus protecting Tenten.

"Run away! You can't do anything more here."

Neji shouted as he dodged the sand bullets targeting him.

"Death is nothing in this Battle Royale. At least let me help?" Tenten shouted back in defiance as she hid behind trees.

"I don't want you to feel the same pain as Lee! Don't worry, I will admit forfeit as soon as it becomes possible!" Neji said to Tenten one last time as he focused on dodging Gaara's sand assault.

Tenten had no choice but to flee with tears in her eyes, knowing that she was useless and would only obstruct Neji.

[Current Time— The Uzumaki Heir]

"..... And then Satsuki would finish with the Shadow Panther Jutsu. I would then attack at the end with Rasengan. Satsuki, you would also start charging a Chidori after activating the Jutsu Scroll in case Gaara survives my Rasengan." Naruto finished briefing the plan for taking on Gaara to everyone as they moved towards Gaara and Neji's location.

"But how would you reach Gaara in time to hit him with the Rasengan? His sand moves really fast. You won't be able to get an opening." Narumi questioned Naruto since she had seen how Gaara used his sand.

"Don't worry about that. I have something special already planned for it." Naruto answered with a smile.

"Now, hurry! Gaara's chakra should already below after his encounter with Tenten and Neji. We won't get a better chance!"

"Why aren't you giving up?"

Gaara's frustrated voice sounded in their ears as they arrived at the scene.

Gaara was pelting Neji with sand bullets as Neji defended himself, dodging or using 'Revolving Heaven' when it was not possible to dodge.

"Hah… There's no way I am gonna lose against someone who even Lee almost won against." Neji said pridefully even as he took deep breaths, fatigue clearly visible on his face.

"Huh!" It was then that Gaara's attention fell on them.

"Now, Shika!"

Naruto urgently notified Shikamaru as his own hands moved through hand seals.

On Naruto's orders, Shikamaru activated his Jutsu Scroll as per the plan.

Water Release— Water Dragon Jutsu

A huge amount of water erupted from the scroll in Shikamaru's hand, taking the form of a dragon as it headed towards Gaara.

Naturally, Gaara tried to defend himself with a sand barrier but it was not enough. The Water Dragon destroyed the sand barrier easily and continued on to hit Gaara, eventually being blocked by the sand armour on Gaara's skin. Though the sand armour still ended up being damaged.

"Narumi!!"

Naruto shouted as two Shadow Clones appeared behind him and he started creating a Rasengan with the Shadow Clones casting a few hand seals of their own.

Storm Release— Laser Circus

Narumi activated her own Jutsu Scroll, releasing several lightning arcs from the scroll. The lightning arcs swiftly moved towards Gaara and hit him at several spots, completely destroying his sand armour.

"Satsuki!!"

Hearing Naruto's order, Satsuki immediately activated the final Jutsu Scroll.

Black Lightning Release— Shadow Panther

A panther formed of black lightning materialised from the Jutsu Scroll, moving at lightning speed to hit Gaara just as his sand armour was destroyed.

While the lightning Jutsu was not enough to defeat Gaara, it was still enough to completely immobilize him temporarily.

Not forgetting Naruto's plan, Satsuki immediately started charging Chidori as Naruto had told her.

It was at this moment that Naruto jumped onto his clones' palms, Rasengan ready in his hand.

"Set! Naruto Burst!"

The two clones released a low powered Gale Palm from their palms, launching Naruto straight at Gaara.

"Rasengan!!"

Naruto smashed his Rasengan straight at Gaara's abdomen, making him fly away and hit a tree because of the impact.

"Uhh! You!!"

Gaara said coldly as he coughed blood while slowly raising himself up, still not down for the count.

However, it was exactly for this situation that Naruto had asked Satsuki to prepare a Chidori.

Satsuki ran towards Gaara at her full speed, the Chidori in her right hand sounding like the chirping of birds.

Lightning Release— Chidori

Gaara urgently created a sand barrier to protect himself but it turned out to be quiet filmsy as Satsuki easily pierced it and stabbed the Chidori straight into Gaara's chest.

"We did it!" Narumi shouted in exhilaration as Gaara was finally defeated.

"W-Why!"

It was at this moment that Gaara started speaking somehow even as his chest was pierced by Satsuki's hand.

"Why can you trust each other so easily? Put your own lives in the hands of each other. Give your own life for someone. Why?"

Gaara shouted in pure desperation.

Gaara shouted, tears forming into his eyes as he blurted out his pain, his desire to escape his loneliness and be loved.

"Trust!" A sudden voice sounded from behind.

"The answer is trust!" Tenten said as she supported Neji.

"Phew! It's finally over. Gaara really give us a great challenge. If we had miss stepped at even a single part of the plan, we would be drowning in Gaara's sand by now." Narumi said as she unceremoniously plopped on the ground.

"Still, I had never thought that Vineet the mask of a monster, Gaara was just a lonely child at heart. He must have really been tortured by the Ichibi to become like this."

As if on cue, the System's signature blue screen appeared in front of their eyes, confirming that they were indeed the last remaining participants in the Chunin Exams Battle Royale.

[Congratulations, participants! The Chunin Exams Battle Royale is now over.

Please wait while the Rankings are sorted after which rewards will be granted according to them.]

As System's words vanished, Naruto felt his sealed chakra reserves return, a sign that the Battle Royale was indeed over.

"Finally! We can now return to Konoha!" Narumi said excitedly as she hugged Naruto, her face glowing with happiness.

"Thank you everyone! Without all of you, it would not have been possible for us to defeat Gaara and survive to the end." Naruto said to his team, praising their efforts till now.

"It was what we Shinobi do, perserve and survive. Besides, this Battle Royale did provide plenty of battle experience as it had advertised." Satsuki replied with a smile.

"This Battle Royale was too troublesome. I hope that I can see real clouds soon." Shikamaru said in his usual lazy tone.

It was at this moment that Neji Hyuga spoke.

"Thank you for saying me, everyone. Especially you, Narumi Namikaze. You came to help me despite our enmity. For this, I am really helpful." Neji said as he bowed to Naruto's team, showing his gratefulness.

"Our enmity is a personal matter. No matter what, we are Konoha Shinobi and should always support each other." Narumi replied in a surprisingly mature tone.

"Why is my rank lower than this lazy ass, Shikamaru?" Narumi complained as she looked at the rankings.

"Perhaps because he fought more smarter than you." Satsuki replied with a jest.

"But why am I in the first place? Didn't all of us defeat Gaara together?" Naruto questioned his ranking despite being ranked first.

"Maybe because you made the plan to defeat Gaara. Not to mention that you fought quite strategically in the entire Battle Royale. I mean you be barely got even a single scratch on your body." Shikamaru pointed out Naruto's performance as the reason.

[It's time for reward distribution!]

[First of all, as an apology for making the participants participate in the Chunin Exams Battle Royale without their consent, all the participants will receive a small permanent increase in their chakra reserves, roughly around a fifth of an ordinary Genin's reserves.]

As soon as the System's words finished, Naruto as well as others felt their chakra reserves increase all of a sudden.

[Moreover, everyone would receive Credit Points as per their ranking.

The Credit Points can be used to purchase several items from the System Shop which any Shinobi would now be able to access from anywhere in the Elemental Nations.]

After the System finished its explanation about the Credit Points and the System Shop, Naruto was granted his well-earned Credit Points though he didn't know how to access them yet and how much they were worth.

"8000 Credit Points." Satsuki replied.

"10000 Credit Points." Naruto answered, causing Narumi to pout in jealousy.

[Also, a copy of the Jutsu Scrolls used in the Battle Royale by the participants as well as any Character Card they found would be available for them to use in the real world.]

Naruto couldn't help but smile as he saw this reward. With the help of his Character Card, Naruto good now be able to become an Uchiha whenever he wanted. He couldn't wait to see what he could achieve with a Sharingan.

[Moving on to the Ranked Rewards!

Each Top 10 Ranker would be granted a C-Rank Jutsu Scroll as well as the Jutsu's learning method.

Each Top 5 Ranker B-Rank Jutsu Scroll as well as the Jutsu's learning method.

Each Top 3 Ranker would be granted an A-Rank Jutsu Scroll as well as the Jutsu's learning method.

And the 1st Ranker would be granted an S-Rank Jutsu Scroll as well as the Jutsu's learning method.]

"An S-Rank Jutsu? I am going to get an S-Rank Jutsu." Naruto couldn't believe his eyes as he looked at the Ranked Rewards.

An S-Rank Jutsu was a Jutsu which held the potential to change the direction of a war. For example, Naruto's Father Minato Namikaze had single handedly ended the Third Shinobi War by slaughtering countless Shinobi with his S-Rank Flying Thunder God Jutsu.

And now, Naruto was going to be rewarded an S-Rank Jutsu when he was just a Genin.

Countless blue screens appeared in front of Naruto, showing what Jutsu he had received as rewards.

'Rasenshuriken? Could it be related to Rasengan?' Naruto couldn't help but think as he immediately looked at the S-Rank Jutsu's depiction.

[Now that the rewards have been distributed, it's time for the ending scenario!]

As these words appeared on the System's blue screen, Naruto's vision suddenly turned white without any prior warning.

"Where the hell am I?" Naruto questioned as his vision returned, finding that he was not in the Chunin Exams Stadium.

Looking around, Naruto could see that he was standing on a small hill with a huge flat plain in front of him.

Surprisingly, there was only a single person standing on the plain. A blonde haired man, wearing a Shinobi jumpsuit of black and surprisingly orange colour who had his back currently turned to him.

"It can't be!" Naruto muttered in shock as the blonde haired man turned to face him.

Blonde hair, blue eyes, whiskers on his face, a Konoha headband on his head, the man was someone Naruto saw everytime he looked into the mirror— himself, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze.
