Thanks. It was fun to write!
Theorizing that one could time travel in their own lifetime dr Samuel Beckett stepped into the quantum accelerator and disappeared
At least he didn't sleep with satie. For a minute I thought the point of the fic was for this character to seduce every female on the show.To be honest, this chapter just feels really forced just cause plot of the episode needed to happen

That was kind of going to be the plan, but I suspect Kurn's need to prove himself was responsible for whispers into his brother's ear. I had a grand plan to eventually avoid ALL of the Civil War but they went and ruined it. Kind of going against the tradition of the ceremony too...
The game added a massive layer of subtext to UDC and to the Klingons in general, holy hell. I think it did more to flesh them out than TNG in its entirety. Fun tidbits - one of the player's colleagues is K'mpec.Chang trying to warn Gorkon as Valeris did Spock in their conversation on the Enterprise.
Do something bold. See, Gowron isn't really trustworthy, Duras is a scumbag, so that limits the options for good governance for the Empire. I'd love to read something about a Worf-Kurn-Martok block that does its own thing, because the leaders of that have realized that the current configuration of the Klingon political sphere just sucks ass.My plan was to have Duras captured and Tried. Gowron would restore the House of Mogh to good standing again. Duras's treachery would have come into the light, Martok elevated already to General thanks to my suggestion would be in a position to claim the Throne, but perhaps not with full support yet. So maybe the show proper's events still happening allows him to gain support over time. But that was my intent.
There's still a possibility to deviate here. I'm starting to lean more into doing fresh things than in the original story. I like the idea of a moderate Klingon Chancellor right now. It will go better for us later on when things start to hit the fan.Do something bold.
