Makes sense. I'm only asking because power scaling is very important, if incredibly tedious. You have to be able to show the readers why person X is stronger than person Y, if there both throwing out magic spells and anime bullshit like candy.

I agree. Not everything needs to be a math problem, but using the king of Fantasy himself Tolkien, Gandalf coming back to life didn't feel like an asspull because Tolkien very strongly hinted at him being more mythical than man from the very beginning even before Gandalf's full origins where revealed.

Just make sure to explain why certain powers works they way they do and the readers will be able to fill in the blanks from there.

I'm cool with wherever. And the funny thing was that the opposing lawyer was very new. Firstly keep in mind it was all over zoom and while she was still at work in a private office her boss let her have it for a couple hours. But the whole time the Lawyer keep asking the same thing over and over again. Can you say what this form is? Don't know, wasn't there for when that occurred.

All that for several hours, to the point my Aunt had to butt in and tell them to move it along since she has a meeting at one o'clock.

Which again this all happened five years ago and my aunt wasn't there for seventy percent of what happened. So for the most part it was just, I can't speculate for something I wasn't there for, several hours in a row. While the Lawyer kept trying to ask the same question over and over again, hoping for a different answer.

They are still in a deposition phase right now. Which is basically gathering witnesses and evidence as well negotiating behind the scenes because its very rare that a trial actually goes to trial, before it actually enters arbitration with a real judge and everything. Or not really a judge, but a labor arbitrator since this isn't a criminal proceedings but a civil case.

And really the way the lawyer handled it was pretty terrible. lol. Asking the same questions over and over again waiting for a slip up isn't seen very well by anyone. It actually annoy's people more than anything which is not something you want when you're trying to argue someone's innocence or guilt.
