I haven't finished it yet, but might I suggest BioShock for your tinker of fiction story? It'd be a great specialization basically make you a power tinker, the plasmids in BioShock are mostly 5s in the PRT power scaling in my opinion. The only thing really over powered would be the Vitachamber since it literally has the power to perfectly resurrect someone as long as their death was via injury. Plus it needs DNA.
