Guh, I dunno. I guess if anything, she would have identified her Element afterwards, since there would be no point in doing it before & even if she did get a result, it would have felt like the game was mocking her, I guess?

Well her element was determined when I decided to go ahead and give her a student/teacher relationship with Shirou longer-term TBH

Would an element you hadn't identified already affect your spells?
I seem to recall that Kayaba built the list of people with Rare Elements from the data taken out of the Element Identification quests, so if someone had an unidentified affinity for "nerves", would it even matter while they were trying to initially learn to make a fake circuit?

Yeah unknown elements still influence your casting; the most extreme case is Shirou being mediocre at Reinforcement and failing a lot -- but the random junk he reinforced as makeshift weapons could keep up with Gae Bolg and Gandrs and stuff.

Yeah Kayaba was going through the Element ID Quest, more because that was easier for him than anything else.

I suppose an unidentified Origin would also influence your spells on at least some level?

Your Origin influences everything you do; it's the "spiritual nucleus" of a person, the closer ANY activity is to your Origin the better you are at it, the more naturally it comes to you.
