  • An addendum to Rule 3 regarding fan-translated works of things such as Web Novels has been made. Please see here for details.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Bah, I'd rather have automatic makers for actually challenging dishes... I can whip up pancakes in what? 15 minutes top!

Meh, that takes too long.

Breead takes too long: one and a half hours to make the dough, at least two more for it to rest, half an hour to roll, then a couple hours to grow, then its baking. And its only this fast if its a hot day.

True. Kinda why I rarely make home made bread. Generally taste good though.

*wonders if Mu-Sensei has never encountered a bread machine*

They suck. Undercooked, badly mixed, and without those air bubbles which give the dough its softness (sorry, non-native speaker), its simply not bread, or even cake.

Unless you're referring to bakery professional equipment, which works as well as the professional operating it. (its not common knowledge on this forum, but I can make very good bread, and did own a small bakery for around two years)

Either Mu-sensei has never encountered my bread machine, or for the past twenty years or so I have been unaware of its status as professional bakery equipment.

(My father is the one who uses the machine; I doubt I could produce anything approaching edible)

I did, in fact tasted bread from automatic bread machines of two different brands and severely disliked it. Maybe its the Third option: My standards are too high. Then again, some good quality equipment is simply unavailable on Brazil, yet fairly common on other countries.
