I know... I guess I'm crying to you because I don't want to say it to her and make the relationship any worse. "This is what writing is." "You can never be good enough to do that." "This is what I do." It just kinda hurts. Reading this kind of thing is tiring...

She's got a fairly fixed idea of how writing's supposed to go. Sometimes its great for cleaning things up... but sometimes it can really bog you down. And I know for certain she doesn't mean to bring you down.

I knowwww. That's why I'm so frustrated. We have different tastes in anything that isn't lewd. And we have different ideas on how things are done. Her words are always really sharp and always cut so deep. I don't think I can take it even if she means well.
