Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
I'm still working out the kinks so far myself, but super happy for this initial support I've gotten. Worried about over saturation so I've been posting only once a day to Patreon, but not sure if thats still over saturation or not =/
Sounds like it though I'm hesitant to say my way is the right way. I'm happily chugging along for the moment but only time will tell if I end up having to dial back or change the format and potentially lose people.
Honestly biggest surprise for me is having nobody unpledge yet so far. I'm kinda waiting for it at this point lol.
another factor is you have each a different target demographic. different tones in your projects and thus different perspectives of your users on money.
That makes sense. And delivering on those expectations will hopefully builx trust and thus brand loyalty here at Cambrian Co. We write smut. It may not be the best smut! Certainly isnt the worst smut! But it is the most reliable!
it also helps that just before patreon you built up a following with your quest and that is still fresh in minds, and you didn't stop even after you had donations. every bit helps.
The quest definitely played a part and so did my years of fanfiction I think. My first Patron was someone who I think was a reader in my first GOT SI lol.
