Questionable Questing

Really!?

Yeah!

You have to go into it acknowledging that shit will change.

For instance, a small spoiler that happens at the VERY beginning of the movie: Mordred isn't Arthur's kid, he's a Mage about the same age as Uther.

I won't say what's what, but some stuff is different.

It was good though.

Boils down to how hardcore an Arthurian fan you are, or if you can accept differences.

Like, I'm pretty sure that Seru wouldn't like it.

He admitted to hating anything that changes too much of the Arthurian tale.

Which is understandable, it's been around for a long, /long/ time.

I see no reason for every damn Arthurian movie to focus on Arthur. And yet, they do. They always tell the same story. Always try to hit the same notes, changing a little to try and seem original.

Doesn't work.

Except this changes the 'noble' image, and makes it grittier.

Less of a chivalrous rise to power, and a bit more rebel feel.

Trying to keep someone from getting too much power, and using less than noble tactics.

Kinda feels Robin Hoodish, tbh.
