• The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
  • An addendum to Rule 3 regarding fan-translated works of things such as Web Novels has been made. Please see here for details.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Questionable Questing

I think about it but am rather lacking in enthusiasm to delve back into it. One of the big things was just how much time the updates ballooned into as it normally took in the range of 6-8 hours of picking away at it.

I'll see if i can work any enthusiasm up, maybe starting with a different corrupter for a different play style. I've got an idea, am liking so might be able to get it rolling again. But we'll see.

It did get kind of crazy near the end with us posting almost every other day and continually increasing the amount of actions we took per post. If we do start it up again limiting the number of actions able to taken per post should help cut down on the amount of time it takes to write up a post.

They got far reaching into the future while meticulously detailing everything. Something I'd been moving away from during my second host Seiga by ceding more to the flow of the host rather than trying to brute force everything.

Yes, keeping things more focused on day to day matters would probably help. Keeping any timeskips to smaller timeframes would also help, though I don't believe that this came up in our games.

As for hosts I agree that utilizing the hosts own foibles against is is a much more elegant way of corrupting them. A poisoned apple rather than the sledgehammer to the head.
