One of the best Naruto stories I've ever read is a continuation of "Zabuza won at Wave".

Granted, I don't think I'd ever find it again. Naruto and Haku ended up wandering ninja because winning at Wave got Zabuza killed, and it was in general really good. Sadly, it was dead as of 7 or so years ago, let alone now...

Say for the 'Zabuza's revolution succeeds', the team is Haku, Suigetsu, and that filler character called Yukimaru. Their jounin sensei is Mei Terumi, who doesn't care about trying to become Mizukage herself (particularly as Zabuza is retconned into being someone strong enough for the job), because she managed to get married.
