    So as a Brazilian in the rainforest, do you have any insight into why states with small areas and populations like Acre, Amapa, and Roraima aren't just merged into Amazonas and Para? Is there some contrast between the conditions in those places?

    As for your question, theres a bit of history behind tha, but essentially it is a reminiscent of the time those lands were incorporated from Spanish colonies, as well as admintrative issues.
