  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.

Don't worry too much about it! Unless you're a "big name", posting an omake for a popular quest is likely to get you more likes than posting original stuff, simply because more people will view it. Well, unless you get really lucky that is, and it's much easier to "get lucky" if your work is connected to an established property.

I get more likes on one-liner Rants posts than I've gotten on my fic, and the latter's been sitting in my sig for four years.
