  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Questionable Questing

I think it is, because of the general lack of anything happening and the plethora of bookkeeping updates that basically amount to "Do you buy this or not?". In any case, there's nothing left to do but play the sequence to this end. I'll try to make it so that this kind of sequence doesn't happen again.

Although I'm not sure what people like about it. >.< Consensus seems to be that Nun Quest ought to move into society building, yet the most popular updates seem to be SoL. *shrugs*

The parts about buying stuff are still interesting because of the kinds of potential scenes they can induce. In fact, I'm personally baffled by how little people want to explore the city further and invite and introduce more new people for the lewd scenes! The more the merrier!

This sequence had a lot of potential to be fun if the votes weren't so conservative. As it is, shopping sticks close to necessities, and I'm subsisting on side scenes like Beth's bathing.

I think the problem is a lack of a clear goal and method to achieve it. Plus, as above, conservative behaviour.

We're basically in a holding pattern, unsure of how far or what we can push forward before crippling ourselves. And some players are deliberately throttling the descent into madness, which while important, is causing division in the ranks.

There's also how far we /want/ to go, and our different descents. Megaolix has made clear they're not interested in groups of strangers, while others want it.

Frankly, after the drunken dare scene, a short pause was perhaps required.
I'm disappointed at the lack of gloryhole scene, though. That futanari spell has a lot of potential, but it pretty much killed incentive to do the former.
