I've had power be knocked out the past season about a handful of times... thanks to the fucking wind (and some rain with it to boot). At least it didn't last long... well, at least not like 6+ hours or so.

Power outages are fairly fairly rare where I live. And most don't last too long (several hours tops) in addition to usually only affecting 2~3 blocks tops, so it's mostly just an inconvenience.

It was an idea I got when replaying a final fantasy game. Basic sense, people will play the part of a human incarnation of the cloud of darkness from ff3. The main explanation for it is in the safe for work interest check/ Ideas thread though.
