Also, I like the idea of a clan of ninjas that still uses Ninshu, or perhaps a direct derivative, as a set of hiden. Maybe a close relative of the Yamanaka, or perhaps the Yamanaka themselves...Or perhaps both. Their relative literally uses ninshu, while the Yamanaka use derivative mind manipulation arts. Injuries are mirrored because ninshu connects mind to mind and body to body.

By creating a mental-mental and physical-physical connection between two people, it's /meant/ to be the means of gaining true understanding. The close relatives would have derivative techniques for...say...'ninshu mediation'. Bridging two people without ninshu knowledge with yourself as the intermediary. Or one way sympathy, to detect problems they're experiencing.

NInshu is an art of mutual meditation where you connect your mental energy with another person's, and your physical energy with theirs. It purely exists to facilitate a degree of understanding between two people that can't be attained otherwise - to disprove solipsism solidly and score points for empathy. Only thing it has to do with ninjutsu is that the sage had to give people chakra to let them learn ninshu.
