Huh, I gave it a read, and it was a nice refresher. I starting reading this a long time ago, but stopped when I reached the point where Kamael threatened Issei, when Issei casually talked about being turned into a Devil might not be so bad.

I dunno, something about that feel too self-righteous and extreme for me at the time. Now...even if I can guess the plot direction of Kamael learning to socialize abd be more chill, I don't mind seeing it.

Reached chapter 3, and now I remember why I stopped reading that fic. It felt too repetitive to canon, just with a different coat of paint. Kamael felt too robotic, and had little self-will to invest in as a character.

He felt more like a manual on how angels should act than a character, what's with his reasoning for helping Issei is because a human asked for help. Or rather it's the way his thought process for that looked.
