Thinking it's some gym in Fula City, which is a canonical (in the anime/movie) city. It's basically San Francisco, and we can treat it like San Fransokyo (big hero 6), it's the setting for the movie The Power of Us (2018)

Could also integrate more of the plot of The Power of Us, which is about Zeraora being a secret protector of the city and vulnerable to poachers and Lugia being the city's patron deity or something... there's a girl named Risa could be the SI's BFF, she's got that Marin vibe

I'm not sure if I want to use the Japanese names for characters or the English ones, because, you know, most readers might be familiar with one, but sometimes the Japanese names are cuter
