• The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
  • An addendum to Rule 3 regarding fan-translated works of things such as Web Novels has been made. Please see here for details.
  • Emergency notice: We are currently being invaded by zombies. See this thread for details.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Questionable Questing

So the productivity streak is sadly done. :(

Is this our cursed existence? You try something new, and that gives you a new high and life seem great. You're productive, you're excited for the day.

And then when that's over, you're stuck with a new routine and all you feel is boredom, emptiness and listlessness?

If it's a healthy routine, why not keep it? Sure the endorphins aren't flowing as they used to, but it's still better than the alternative?

I'm keeping at it, that's not what's bothering me.

Good to hear. And yeah, life being an empty void devoid of meaning and purpose is just how things are.

Struggle all you want. Sooner or later all is ground into dust.

I mean, the absurdist viewpoint of nihilism is a valid choice as well, the universe still doesn't care though :p

Still, if you miss the endorphin rush of running? May I suggest longer distances? You'll find the high quickly coming back once you cross the 10km/6 miles threshold... Or even higher if that doesn't do the trick.

Doesn't mean I should allow myself to act like dust before I am.

Maybe add another activity that's healthy to do.

Run on your hands. Be the Rock Lee you were destined to be.

May I suggest picking up the guitar, or piano, or music in general? Or/and perhaps drawing?

I promise, you will not have the time to worry and think about most other things after, hehe...err I mean, healthy, totally, yes... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgnClrx8N2k
