Questionable Questing

Tired, but very happy. I just finished my ten hour OSHA and my card will get delivered to my house in a couple weeks. As for what I"m reading, during the OSHA lecture I was reading American Psycho underneath my desk to help pass the time.

I'm pretty sure the author has some screws loss with the way the story is set up. It's basically about a psychopath slowly going insane as he realizes that society and the people around him in the corporate world are faker than he is.

Like on of my favorite scenes is a girl asks him what he does for work and he straight up says murder and executions and then she she says, oh mergers and accusations sounds fun.

Basically she didn't actually care what he had to say, just that he had a job that made a lot of money. The author is using this outlandish character to do criticism on society.

I only have my NATE testing left, but that's in a couple of weeks. Then building performance lab. Which is basically in HVAC air flow is one of the most important factors in how efficient your unit will be. So you can actually measure how insulated a building actually is. How many leaks it has, how big those leaks are, how much dust and pollen are getting in. That's all building performance.

It began as a cybepunk thing but turned into something else. Maybe steam punk maybe not. A world where Warlocks and Sorcerers make living idols out of woman. Transforming them into fetishes of power. Woman are possessed and bound with demonic godly spirits, used as a source of occult energy to be channeled and mastered by the men. Same for trans girls and femboys.

Their souls and bodies dominated by runic seals and invocations breaking and remaking them into familiars as the dark powers that flow in them burn into them with filthy corruption. Carnal lusts both erotic and violent, the chaos of the primal energies of the world ruining their decency and dignity.

The Sorcerers wield the spells by using the woman as vessels, impregnated with supernatural agencies and enslaved through sensation, forced hypnotic submission, and memetic ideas infesting their personality.

Woman can have their flesh twist and break into explosions of gore from greedy Sorcerers or have their souls burnt until they become monstrous twisted and shattered creatures roaming in madness.

While men can burn and seethe as their primal passions and own self destructive will melt them with black molten sludge and fall apart if they push themselves to become truly empty

How did it begin? I'm guessing magic and demons have always been apart of this world, but at what point did people start learning about runes and how they could be channeled through the body? How much of a science versus an art do you want the runes to be? Are their certain rules? Do they have to flow in a certain way through various organs? Does symbolism have an impact?

Or, the Sorcerer and Bonded mana sources can provide power to each other but even then, its not a normal relationship as the flames of sorcery are perverted and broken

I'd say its been that way forever. A mother goddess violated by a powerful male diety who befouled the world and made her his bimbo incest wife.

Are the runes just straight biomancy or are they something else? What are the limits on power? I'm guessing the magic is inherently corrupting not matter if your wielding it or if you the one getting experimented on, but how does that corruption work?

Is it like the warp in warhammer where you take sanity loss every time you touch it? Are their ways to control it or is one of those things that will destroy you no matter what?

If its more an art than a science, I'm guessing then that each warlock with have their own unique style rather than their being this universal rune language like in Aragon. But, and this is a very important question for power level reasons, how many runes can your average person hold? Are their unique blood lines or genetic's that impact that ability?
