Tom Clancy books is your stereotypical, American solider goes to foreign nation, uncovers evil conspiracy, meets random love interest, and then defeats insert evil enemy that is representative of real life America's political rivals.

he wrote a book in the eighties when America was terrified of Japanese Industry buying them out. It was very racist and about a crazy Japanese guy trying to rebomb pearl harbor and restart ww2.

But again, Tom Clancy especially his older works about the Soviet Union was a million times better. He didn't just make them one dimensional bad guys, they could be cruel, tragic, heroes in their own right and all at the same time. And the thing about Tom Clancy is that he had many close friends who were high ranking member of the nave so he had a level of realism to a lot of his works.

With Midnight serious leads down to being a housewife, fun leads down into staying mostly the same if a lot more slutty and with a harem of students to teach, while Night is that she becomes a bit of a predator, actively seeking more students and heroes to corrupt into the MC clutches.
