Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Curses Should have waited till next update before showing you that manwha Still, if it nets us a DDR update, or even a non-tentacly quest in that universe, it would not have been in vain
And yes the translations are atrocious. They start getting a bit better in the later updates, but it basically looks like a non-native speaker translating into English.
I have mixed feelings about the mc. On one hand he leaves a strong impression of Naruto rip-off, on the other character design is actually a good deal better than Naruto's. I especially like the artist's work - he's no Murata Yuusuke, but Nie Li's facial expressions (non-comical ones, that is) are extremely well done.
Also, super-grindy themes typical in Korean and Chinese LNs shine through, but it's thankfully a lot more subdued here than, say, in Moonlight Sculptor.
I can sorta tolerate the source of the MC's 'cheat' (though him wanting to date his previous life's love is pretty creepy when you consider he has almost two centuries of experience?), which is not the case with, say, the prequel (Cult of Sacred Runes), which feels a lot cheaper to me.
Oh wait scratch that, it's only the time he's spent wandering the world, with the magical hyperbolic time chamber book he may well be millennia old mentally.
Not right now, but I'll be sure to recommend any good stuff I come across
(Well, as far as classics go I'd recommend Shin Angyo Onshi if you haven't read it, it's... different from that one, but it is awesome.)
I seem to remember something called Id - The Greatest Fusion Fantasy, I didn't finish it but found it entertaining for a time, I should probably come back to it at some point.
Try Thunderbolt Fantasy on Crunchyroll. It's a xianxia (fantasy wuxia) puppet show, directed by Gen Urobuchi. Totally over the top but with nice characters, music and VAs, and the artistic value is incredible.
Man, what a disappointment, Nie Li turns into a massive asshat further into the novel. Hopefully manhwa will fix it, since it's apparently tweaking small things here and there.
