But over time were as Stolas seemed happy with a mutual friendship, Stella wanted a real relationship, and when she didn't get that, her mutual respect turned into loathing as she was forced to stay married to guy that called her his buddy. Swearing yourself to someone makes you almost like family in a way. It's not just like the usual underling and boss deal like with most demons. Swearing yourself is step further where you basically pledge your entire being to that person forever. Much more serious, and regardless of power level any demon will respect that level of devotion.

Some demons like to show off a little how many sworn they have since it not only is a direct power boost but it also shows how good of a leader you are. its considered disrespectful and in low taste since it treats what should be a sacred bond as a bigger power level, but I could totally see Val lying about having sworn to seem bigger than he actually is.

Apocalyptically furious. Completely ignoring that's his daughter, Lucifer does not like rape. Because to him rape is one of the worst ways of forcing away someone's free will, something he is huge on. And yes to Lucifer tricking someone or using you wealth and power as a tool to get sex is considered rape to him.

I think he could be a good politician, the question is does he actually want to be one. Its a lot easier being a tyrant and using your overwhelming power to bully your way though, the problem now is that would make Charlie upset and that's the on thing Lucifer doesn't want.
