The issue with logging in with email addresses has been resolved.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Man, you and Jackal are so good at including world building in tiny details. The part about the god mother talking about her furniture using ironwood from the north, talking about how it was a gift, showing the connections she has and using it a symbol to show the rising nationalism in the north, fucking perfect.
I mean the sex is always fun, and the way they described Lyanna was really fun, but subtle world building like that just amazes me with how good it's interwoven.
I really liked how the god mother was saying she didn't need luxuries or anything, that she was this nice simple girl who only needed the bare essentials and sex to enjoy herself, that all the extravagance was for show, but you could really feel the possessiveness and greed underneath it.
With Wave arc, the big change I'm doing is that Naruto does end up killing someone. Its not a super secret ninja or samurai, its a random thug Gato hired that didn't have chakra or anything special about him. Just a random face in the crowd of the manga pages. But the emotional effects it leaves on Naruto is what I'm going to explore.
This idea of killing other people in order to chase your dream, and that slow creeping realization for Naruto that if he wants to be homage he's going to have to kill a lot more people. For Naruto the big realization is that as much as he wants to be homage, he's not okay with killing or hurting people to reach it and that maybe he's not cut out to be a ninja.
Oh, Naruto will stay a Ninja for awhile. This whole character arc I described is going to be a long process. It'll take years for Naruto to get fully disillusioned with the ninja world, but it definitely starts with Wave arc.
By the end of it Naruto will want to try and fix the system like in Canon, except unlike canon he will be much more ruthless and forceful about making it happen. In his mind his children will have peace, and anyone who stands in the way of that is a threat to them.
