The central idea for Warlock's blade is different kinds of Arcane energy. Going less for conceptual gods and instead mana types with the Avantaie and Shavidiae who are the bright and dark bimbos respectively and thank my buddy for those terms being the source of magic for the wizards and Warlock's.

So how does this mana work? Are they channeling it through specific runes or metals and mana is a just a naturally reoccuring element? Is it mutagenic and corruptive? Is it just something people are born with and have to learn how to control and wield? Or is it like a muscles any can grow and learn with enough practice and knowledge?

Avantaie and Shavidiae are sources of the two kinds of Mana, spiritual fertility centers for it and by bonding with them a Wizard or Warlock can develop their own powers. It is mutagenic and corruptive for the Shavidaie and Warlocks while for the Avantaie it restorative and purifying

Shavidiae I imagine have to be pushed into a toxic mud pit while Avantaie are exposed to certain crystals

So is it just a careful balancing act of the two different types of magic or can you only specialize in one?

A shaviadie is the opposite of a Avantaie and same direction warlocks and wizards who channel the power of the source woman mages in different ways than the women

How does gender play into this? You keep saying male wizards and woman mages, what's the difference between the two?

A guy could be Avantaie or Shaviadie but they would be femboys. They are the wombs of the world's mystic energies. Gender decides of your a source or channeler.

So what can you do with the magic? What's the strongest magic user's look like? What exactly do they want and how does their magic effect them psychologically?

Avantaie can cast blessings on themselves and others and on armor and weapons to imbude them with this celestial energy. Wizards have sound, force, and lasers. A stellar mana that can be used for gravity manipulation to firing off condensed hyper cold void rays to making spheres of force and energy rotate around them to protect them.

Star force magic with tearing apart people or balls of matter obliterating force. I would say this mana gives great confidence to the magic users who have it

Sounds really cool, seems like instead of the usual bimbo stuff you do your focusing a lot more on the mechainics of the magic spells which is always a treat. Anyway I'll get back to you in a minute, going to go get dinner.

The idea for the celestial energy was natural pure cycles of energy like tidal forces, sun and starlight, wind and lightning. Trying to do a pure holy energy that isn't generic. I like the idea of it radiating from the sun and moon and filling the world.

That's pretty cool, also ties in with how the two magics are pure and upure. Fire and Water. Life and Death. Ice and Sand. Grass and Ash. Tons of cool combinations you could do with that.

That is a super cool highly ambitious idea I am unsure how to do. In contrast you have the Shaviadie and Warlock's with the former being curses, slimy primordial ooze necrotic poison magic, summoning of dark familiars and vile witchcraft and the Warlocks being napalm blood, hellfire, thunder and lightning, destructive flames and chaos. You seeing the clean vs filthy theme here?
