Questionable Questing

Like Toph grew up in a really restiricted household constantly be babied because of her disability and despied it, and when she becomes a parent will want to do the complete opposite, but at the same time you need to be restrictive and willing to punish your kids if they screwed up. I could totally see her kids acting out in public or having tantrums because she has trouble setting ground rules.

The real question though is how will Aanag affect it. because Aang despite being very chill and forgiving, can also be pretty firm. he can act as that structure the kids need and can also be really good at treating them with respect and reaching them. its kind of funny to think about, but despite trying to be the cool mom, all of Tophs kids will have a much closer relationship with their father than her.

But really Toph is stubborn, loud, and proud, all traits that her kids will inherit and I think her more passionate personality helps balance out Aang's more passive demener more than he does with Katara.

I think Aang will still have trouble where he'll focus more on his kids with air bending powers over the ones who don't since he's really desperate to preserve his people's culture and keep them from completely dying out. But Toph will never let him go overboard. Plus Toph will be less intrested in politic's than Katara is, so will have a lot more time to act as a stay at home mom.

What will Toph do? Still become a major police officer? And how many kids in canon did Aang have?

And where will they live? How do they affect the Earth Kingdom and does Toph still Inherit her family's titles?

In canon Aang had three kids, here I'm thinking five. I'm thinking republic city still gets created made up of neutral former earth kingdoms and fire nation colonies that don't want to be apart of either nation with Soka and Aang both being major reasons for its creation with the two traveling around a lot, but eventually settling here.

I'm thinking Toph gets busy raising the kids, but eventually goes into teaching, mainly metal bending, and acting as a instructer for the newly formed Army and eventually police of the newly formed republic. So still an enomourusly influential policy maker and fondly remembered founder for the city, but more of a back seat role than canon and gives her more time to travel and be a mom.

Five makes me think Toph has a breeding and pregnancy fetish.

That's something really fun I'll get to play with. the idea that Aang and Toph both having basically zero ambitions in life, accidently create a dynsaty and rasie a hord of some of the most ambitious kids in the wolrd as they all grabble with the legacy and shadow their parents accidentally left over their heads.

It'll give Zuko's horde of kids some rivals when they aren't to busy fighting with each other.

Kids hungry for glory and power and control over Republic City

More hungry for respect, to be seen more than just the Avatar's kid.

Possible incest between the brothers and sisters?
