Don't really know how i want the conflict with Mark, omniman, and the justice league to evolve yet. That's a lot of set up i need to go through first. I still need to figure out a vague timeline and how much if an impact Omniman has had.

But I need some kind of conflict or poltical event that omniman gets involved in that the league wants to stay out that shows, Omniman is breaking away from them, show off debbie's grey side, and show Mark's changes as well. Some kind of war maybe.

As for war, isn't there that magma guy from Young Justice who is the brother of Terra in that universe? And his country's civil war?

Also let's be clear that they have the league avoid wars because comics don't want to change the status quo. They want it to be like RL earth. When you think about Batman and Superman, yes their going to try to not be political tools, but they are still going to be doing humanitarian missions and intervening. No politics is the politics of the useless.
