Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

That being said, a flash air holy grail has no intrinsic wish granting ability. The Ainsworth holy grail war was them fighting to ensure ownership of Miyu.
Funnily enough that would actually be better bait than the actual Holy Grail that grants wishes.
They probably aren't sure if the Holy Grail actually works, but the Scrub Grail that just supercharges any ritual your family has crafted and you know would work?
They would go into that War so fucking prepared Kiri would look like a chump.
A thought about this family's magecraft: Aside from nerve circuitry, they might very well have turned their in depth neurology knowledge to the development of magecraft focusing on direct neural interference.
Heh.
I was just thinking about how generally mental interference magecraft affects the soul of the victim, but these people might be uniquely prepared to actualize mysteries attacking the physical side of mentality and senses.
Because nothing says 'I want to rape your mind' quite like looking at the mind/body duality system and saying, 'You know what? Double Penetration is fine too.'
Hm.
Maybe the sorcery trait has developed, actually, but in an incredibly weak state - it'll take decades at least to breed the trait up to a truly useful power. The average member has a nervous system capable of channeling prana such that, by distributing the load completely among their unaltered nerves, they can produce about 16 units of prana per whatever time unit is being measured safely.
Imagine dropping one of them into Fate: Revelation Online.
The SAO therein can recognize Shirou's method of making nerve circuits for what it was, so it could probably figure out what they were doing...
But could it interpret the preexisting nerve circuits in such a way that they'd be represented inside, or would they be considered mystic codes (which they technically are), and not duplicated ingame?
Anyways, the family magecraft would probably be categorized as a form of alchemy, though neither the mainstream conversion of material substances or the Atlas style of converting phenomena - it'd be the conversion of bodies.
Calling it alchemy because the end product isn't itself a mystery, and thus will neither be destroyed by the world nor suffer from dilution, and that's a defining trait of making something with alchemy in Nasu.
Turning them into mystic codes as well could be a boon.
Mystery grows in power with age, so while progress would result in the conversion process getting refined the old circuits would still be powerful because they're only getting stronger.
Also, body conversion /is/ a kind of material conversion?

Anywho body modding is a thing in the Nasuverse.
Zouken, Nrvnqsr and that coffin whatsits guild... anyway point is there is reason and precedence for adding features onto circuits aside from just prana conversion units.
Thinking syrupy alchemical liquid specifically created to contain mana, stored and pumped through tubes of a material that /doesn't/ conduct mana.
