Questionable Questing

What's going on? Set the scene for me.

Well one of the main characters of my fic is an OC who is the youngest sister of Vaggie as this story was conceived before the series premiere and I like everyone else assumed she was a Sinner.

Well, when the show came out I tried to find ways to reconcile the fact she was an angel while having my OC still exist (I had written about and published 12 chapters prior to the shows premiere) and keep the emotional core in tact.

First I thought of making Vaggie a Winner but there would be some holes in that idea. Finally, I decided to have her be a Heaven born Angel that somehow ended up on Earth for a time with amnesia before being brought back to Heaven.

Alright, so what kind of relationship do you want the sisters to have in the beginning and how did the younger sister end up in hell to begin with?

Chapter 14 foreshadows this revelation and Chapter 15 reveals it. The problem is, I'm trying to explain how she ended up on earth in the first place. I can't advance if I don't solve this problem.

What kind of angel was she? A warrior? A guardian? Just someone trying to help?

Technically adopted sisters. Also she ends up their via grimoire accident.

The sister is human. It's complicated. I don't think I can fully explain in under 400 words.

Have you ever heard of the term Nephilim before? The book of Enoch? If you hadn't, to make a long story short the bible used to be a collection of stories and myths being spread around for hundreds of years before anything was ever actually written down, so you can imagine that the stories constantly contradicted each other and where confusing. Lol

And when it was written down in what was called the council of Nicaea, parts of the original bible were for the lack of better word consider non-canon and gotten rid of. Stuff like another four Gospels and a bunch of other prophecy books where just gotten rid of. Anyway I bring that up because in some of those cut out books,

My question ultimately is though, how do I get an exorcist stuck on earth?

They described this race of being which were these giant mythical and powerful men called Nephilim. And they where the children of angels and humans. And apparently one of the reasons for the original flood was to get rid of these creatures because they were conquering the earth and enslaving humanity.

So the idea I'm think is that this sister has a connection to earth, a love for it that caused other angels to be wary, almost afraid that she would break her vows and produce a Nephilim, and when she disappears for a long period of time on earth for some reason,

Completely disconnects form her family and her loved ones never speaking to them for years, all the angels assumed she had hooked with a human and was now a sinner that needs to be destroyed.

In a crossover fic with DP I posted three chapters of, Charlie and Vaggie were accidentally brought to earth via teleportation malfunction from Axiom labs. Perhaps I could use that as an explanation?

Teleportation malfunction works pretty well. If you have a demon or monster who's a main antagonist, you could have the angel have a run in with him trying to protect some or something and ended up getting hurt and stuck on earth. personally I would love to see her lose some kind of bet or some kind of deal, she made trying to protect people but thanks to her naivety or arrogance she lost.
