Ramsey is such a fun character to write sometimes. I remember a self insert fic where the MC invented guns or chainsaws and caused Ramsey to fall in love with him. It was hilarious, seeing the psychopath act like a love suck teenage girl around him.

That is absurdly strange and we de edged him. I couldn't deal with his canon character or how he managed to not cause his father's bannermen to revolt

George constantly did shit like that, where he would go out of his way to make the villains or heroes more or less competent or give them some bullshit buff in order for the story to work and be as grim as possible, fucking irritated the hell out of me. Jon's death for example, the idea that the knights watch would rebel against him since he was working with Stannis and making deals with Widlings. I like.

Its a natural consequence of the actions Jon is making and the best part is even if those actions are logical and necessary, human emotions causes people to make stupid choices. But killing him? Jesus fucking Christ, firstly he's like one of the last likable MC you have left. Secondly he's the only one preventing an all out war between the watch and Wildilings, one the watch can't win.

Thirdly, you mean to tell me the watch an organization of rapist and low life's with no loyalty to anyone until Jon showed up and started winning them over and turning them into a proper army to fight the coming apocalypse, is simultaneously so loyal to their creed they would kill him if he betrayed it.

The Ramsey thing is if he married and killed a widowed noble woman, the banners could just say fuck Lord Bolton and kill him. It's a feudal society. Trust is Paramount to power

Which is it George? Are they criminals that could be bribed with warm food and a blow job or are they cult so dedicated to their creed they would kill themselves over it?
