How wil New Wave change in its relationship to the Proctrate?

Well keep in mind Coil has thoroughly subverted a decent chunk of the Brockton already, and while he definitively doesn't control it. He does have the influence that in combination with Piggot's paranoia about uncontrolled capes, his power to cheat a little, and throwing around a lot of money combined with New Wave's increasing strength and control over the city, to start a conflict between the two.

Now the PRT and New Wave are never going to openly fight each other, their both heroes and surrounded by villains and neither can afford the costs. A small hero team can't beat the government and the PRT does not need the PR disaster of not only antagonizing a famous hero team but also one of the best healers on the planet.

But there are a lot of ways both sides can make each other's lives very difficult while on the surface remaining united.

Is Mister Dallion going to gather followers outside his family?

Expanding New Wave into a proper gang. Miss Dallion having other Cape families join or offering suits to normals who want a harem in return for service and loyalty

That sounds like a lot of fun. I already was going to have Lisa play her games and slowly draw in the Dallon's into the criminal underworld, but showing a full blown proper gang could be cool. I might use Leviathan and the devastation he left as justification for them going full warlord.

Hey, how was your day? My day was pretty decent actually. I had a bit of a barbecue today, cooked up some rips and had this really good turtle cake we found.

And with the new wave gang, an idea I had that was Amy using her powers to make basically superfoods and medicine, since supplies were disrupted for so long by Levithan's destruction, in the process making Brockton self sufficient in food means they aren't dependent on the outside. Which means the outside world has less leverage.

Basically it ties in with the general idea, of in the process of trying to help or trying to strength themselves the Dallon's naturally create enemies. By reducing the leverage the PRT and the government has overt them, the more these groups view them as a threat.
