I kind of get what the author was going for but at the same time, I feel like he didn't stick the landing. Seeing Deku sad and lonely after everything that's happen was a bit of a gut punch especially after all the asspull's they did to make sure none of the heroes died.

Oh speaking of anime's that ended. Don't bully me Nagatoro just wrapped up to. A nice little cute romcom and while it was pretty obvious the author was getting pretty burnt out on it, they ended okayish. Seeing the boy and girl moving to the same apartment for college was nice.

Very sweet and wholesome which is kind of funny since the author was a former hentai artist known for some pretty graphic shit, like bestiality, females toilets, and that sort of stuff. So people were expecting the final scene to be a little graphic. lol.

The ending for Deku was that he sacrificed his powers to beat the bad guy, we get a eight year time skip where he becomes a teacher and is guiding the next generation while his friends have been busy being top heroes. One day he admits to Aziawa that he really misses being a hero and hates how everyone seems to busy to keep up. When surprise his friends visit and give him an iron man suit to be a hero again.

Nobody hooked up. The author was pretty scared off from how toxic the shipping community was, so he made sure no one got together in the end. Hence why everyone's making jokes that Deku's being cucked since Ohaco didn't end up with him. But the time skip costumes and design for the older student was really nice. I sort of get what he was going for, with how Deku didn't need powers to be a hero and kind of mirroring All Might in being a teacher once the powers are gone, but like you said it was not executed well. As for One piece I've heard of it and I'm tempted to start it, but after what happened with Berserk and how long it is, I'm not sure.
