Our MC was formerly a marketing head who put work over his marriage and had a lot of resentment against his wife because he had a kid way too early and had to take a stable career path rather than the one he wanted to support his new family. Then his wife died, haven't decided how, but after that he received his powers and all the success and fame he could want as a devil but none of it made him happy.

That is kind of the point. You see this big powerful demon and you expect rock or something really intense and his signature song is something really sappy and a little melodramatic. lol.

It ties in with his character arc of how he's embarrassed by his song and how much of an ass he was to his wife and kids. As well as how embarrassing it is for him to admit that he was a boring suburban dad with a beer belly and a pair of dockers and clearance isle polo's in a past life. But don't worry his main songs will probably be classic rock and a mix of some heavier stuff.

Very, very underrated. And for Marin, I'm kind of liking the idea of her being Salem's daughter. Having her interact with Yang and Ruby who are unknowingly the grand kids, since their parents have cut ties, could be some pretty fun dynamics. Plus I love the idea of a milf Salem that still has it going on. lol.
