Managing the relations between Harem members and how they treat each other and what they do for the household would be a major part of the quest. Corrupting the girls to love each other, figuring out what they get out of the Harem and Hurik's use of them for his goals. Power fantasy with depth of detail.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Just need to make sure you have systems in place to handle large scale projects and the effect they'll have on the quest. Not saying you need to go full city planner since your quest is much more narrative focused,

But if for example Harrik spends several turns building a system of roads and sewage systems, its going to very disappointing to the players if all they get out of it is a few extra paragraphs next update. There needs to be some kind of mechanical effect. Not necessarily a number or an extra dice roll, but something along the lines of allowing the city to grow faster or extra opportunities.

But narrative focused guest do give you a lot more leyway since your not as bound by numbers. A little trick I do in my quest is that I have list hanging around at all the changes the players made and their impact and I try to subtly mention those each update, and during significant events depending on certain choices I'll give the players extra options based on past choices.

A pretty relevant one that relates to what you just said, is that since the players focused so much effort on Midnight in My therapist, they will learn about her backstory and former addiction to her gas a lot faster. Which will in turn give them so interesting effects they can choices from.

Well with Zuko, I've been researching about Imperial Japan and the Denazification campaign in Germany, trying to figure out the politics Zuko's going to be walking into. With Naruto I've been debating how Sakura's opinion shifts over time. And with Jaune, I've been trying to make sense of the magic system in RWBY so I have some consistent power scaling. Well firstly I asked myself how is their government even structured? What clicked?

Agni Kai, a duel to determine who the stronger bender is and thus has the right to rule based on the conquest of the first Firelord, and over time it transitioned from a way to settle secession's for the Firelord into the honored fight it became. And the reason the fight centered around burning rather than killing, was that it was a way to break a rival family member without being a kin slayer.
