With in the future the company using the plant to make special fertility drugs without knowing the context. Which is also a big deal since the colony used this plant as a food source since most other plants can't survive the salty water, and many of these smaller farms were destroyed and replaced with massive plantations dedicating to making these new drugs.

So the influence of the demons is in these fertility drugs that are being sold.

Which the demons hate because they specifically gave away these "gifts" with the expectation they would be freely shared and over indulged not horded away and controlled.

So our heroine wants to use the plants for advanced medical science which turns into tantric rituals and blood sacrificing corpos while having massive milf incest orgies for breeding as she promises the other tired and hurt moms of her community the power to make their sons strong and daughters beautiful

Pretty much. But less that she found the plant herself, and more like her buddies on the forum suggested it to her and she interpreted these ancient rituals not as magic, but as a way the native inhabitants tried to understand the medicinal powers of the plants.

So plot, how does the mystery build to her being forced to trust the demons to save her son?

But yes, breeding is a huge theme in this. This ancient civilization lived on the small islands dotted around, and when one island became to over populated, it was expected that the eldest sons would craft a small fleet and move onto a new island to settle themselves and claim as their own domain, with many of these son taking family members along with them. Sisters, Aunts, Mothers.

It was a way for the new island to maintain a part of their old island identity, since men were the warriors and leaders while woman were the keeper of families and also the keeper of records, in charge of books and story telling. And these family members went along usually if they were unmarried or didn't have any prosepcts on their old island, but also because they favored their first son.

With saving her son, I was at first going to make the son apart of a small gang or a blood sport group, and he inadvertently pissed some gang leaders off or a heist went bad. But to fit with the island theme, I'm thinking there has to be some kind of water jet racing. Except since its the future, its literal jets going a few hundred miles per hour balancing just above a water grave.

When I say Jet racing this is what I imagine.

Its stupidly dangerous, but he's good at it and more importantly he only needs to win one or two regional matches to get the money to get his family out of poverty. Adds some personal stakes to it. but the issue is that in-between trying to win with a machine that's held together with duct tape and prayers, he's dealing with the politics's of the race itself.

Since this race was so dangerous it was banned and was traditionally controlled by the criminal underworld, but since the company trying to push them out entirely their starting a new league under their control, and many of the lower class want to join in and basically kick their ass and publicly humiliate them. And since our MC is a classic Cinderella story he's being turned into a mascot for it.

They don't want him to win as he doesn't have any ties with any of the factions and so he learns how to street fight

And so our boy needs allies and power. Demonic reinforment for his augs and a gang from hell to be his muscle

And what I'm thinking is that he does end up winning, but his jet gets sabotaged and he gets hurt really bad. Which is what causes his mom to snap.
