  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.

    I don't have any problems with you using it; I have a few ideas based around the premise but no real direction in mind for it so it's unlikely for me to end up using it compared to some of my other builds

    That's why I noticed, if you take a look at the other question marks, the edges around it are gray-er.

    As a matter of fact yes, I did; I wanted to change my avatar so it would be easier to notice my own comment when scrolling down but got hit by choice paralysis and just decided to make it stand out a bit.

    it's not even another question mark; I just used Paint to recolor the default image which took less than ten minutes total

    I think that part of me was curious to see how long it would take someone for to bring it up but it's been more than three months since I made that change
    and I figure just having a subtly different avatar might make my comments more noticeable without the trouble of me not knowing what I want to pick
