I mentioned Cass is terrified of being a weapon and is going through her own character arc as she understands Mark's biology is dedicated to war and wants to help him from going down that path.

Barbra is going through her own stuff, not just the break up with Dick which hurt her self esteem a little but she's also struggling with the idea of being powerful. She's best friends with Kara and as smart, as hard as she works, and as good as she is at hand to hand combat, Kara could fold Barbra over like a pack of croutons in a few seconds and Barbra does not like feeling weak like that.

And her Chi powers are cool but the nature of Chi is limited. It can't surpasss the raw might of a Viltrumite or Kryptonian. With krytoinainas here being more magical powered, what does Kara have? some super strength is okay but can't be the main thing as super strength is the core Viltrumite power

She was apart of the science cast before being sent to earth with her cousin so I'm going to play into that, maybe some instinctual knowledge on how things are put together, some x-ray vision that would put Superman to shame, maybe some limited sonar abilities where she can hear micro cracks in metal by tapping against it and hearing the ringing noise it makes.

I like that. Kryptontians were extremely powerful because of how varied their abilities were. While Viltrumites are a mockery of their breadth of power

Viltrum sacrificed everything for pure raw strength and survivability.

How good are those battle instincts they gave up so much for?

Depends on the Viltrum and the level of training, but on the higher end they can sense when someone has negative thoughts about them, dodge a gun before its even fired and instinctively know the firing lines of that weapons, as well as knowing where to hit to cause the most pain or the most damage.

But the best way to describe it is a spider sense being given to someone as fast as superman.
