Has a really big soft spot for his girls and tends to spoil them way too much. Partially because he feels guilty for how he practically collapsed for awhile after Summer died, and also because he doesn't want his girls to suffer from the stuff he dealt with as a kid, growing up in poverty and having to fight for everything.

Also tends to give them too much leeway to do whatever they want, since he has a very different view on what normal and acceptable behavior. Stuff like letting Yang drive a motorcycle or wear a tube top that shows off her stomach and breast before she's fifteen is fine in his book since he was doing way crazier stuff when he was that age.

Play with that. Tai wears gold colors and has gold hair and he showers the girls in gold. Big on having money to spend and lavish them with. Very focused on getting coin for the house and if he has to do some maybe illegal street fights to do so? He will.

Grimm corruption having him a dragon father keeping a very close voyeuristic eye on the girls and asking them to model and pose for him and sit close by him often. Sleep in the same bed together.

Make it funny that when people ask Tai why he lets Yang do this crazy stuff and he has stories that make them go bug eyed at how wild he was. To Tai, he's being a strict parent because his standards are a burning dumpster fire

His life for the longest time has been a burning dumpster fire. And now for the first time in a long time it's going stable and calm and he's expected to go from full blown hunter and enforcer for Ozpin to becoming a normal suburban dad who cooks, cleans, and tell his kids to go to bed before nine o'clock, and he's having a really hard time adjusting.

He's on edge a lot of times. Getting into dumb fight because he doesn't know how to de-escalate or walk away when someone says something. He doesn't know what kids need or want, letting them play with knives or guns and not seeing the problem. He says fuck and every curse word under the son and tells them dirty jokes like they're his best friends.

Yet he absolutely loves them and feels so very inadequate to the jobs and just desperately wishes someone was beside him who could be the real parent while he got to be the dumb fun one, not really understanding because of grief and nostalgia that raven and Summer where just as big of a dumpster fire as he was. lol.

Or as Yang and Ruby get older hot loyal girlfriends and baby mama's. I'm seeing that when Tai was a kid he took what he wanted and fought for what he needed. I also like the idea he enjoys the idea of being a suburban dad and does like a lot of it, but at his core he craves violent solutions and violent living and it clashes with that.

I still want the girls to go to Beacon, but that doesn't mean Tai can't stay home with the kids in the meantime and schedule visits during the weekends. or hell considering you have a school full of superhuman athletic co-ed teams of teenagers, how much you want to beat teen pregnancy is a common occurrence?

You combine that with probably a view of very large families being the norm and motherhood being seen as a virtue, considering Remnant's a deathworld and they need to keep up the population, and how much you want to bet Beacon has a ton of nurseries and staff to support all that?

I mean hell Aura was created so you have an in universe reason for why none of the bad guys bleed even after getting the shit kicked out of them.
