I'm thinking I want to try and finish up or get back to some of my old stories. I kind of went through a rough path for awhile and then was busy with Halloween and my birthday, but I really do want to start writing for My Therapist and maybe even start up Queen Mother or Miss Dallon again at some point.

I don't know. I just feel kind of guilty that I'm ignoring stories that a decent amount of people want to see finished.

A trickster demon, slowly introducing a naive yet troubled teenager through the magical underworld for her own selfish goals, all the while slowly falling in love with him and watching as he grows up to some strong and mature. Sounds like a winning formula.

So our trickster demon wants to use the underworld and let's say the boy's mom promised the spirit a child years ago

That actually works really well. The mom is guilty and that guilt makes her distant and hard to connect with her kids. Which gives the in for Demoness to come in. But why did the mom make the deal? Kid in over her head? Desperation? Revenge?

Wealth and power. She's secretly a grand witch and she's a wealthy bitch

Desperation and revenge. A witch coven killed her parents or something else?

How about this. Could even reuse some of the stuff from the original beetlejuice. Mom died, and her dad has remarried and moved into a new house. How that house is connected to the demoness I'll figure out later. She's lonely, pretty desperate, and unknowingly slowly awakening her powers. The demoness finds her and starts taking advantage of her grief for her own ends.

All for a spell that can supposedly bring back the dead. And it isn't until she's signed the deal, that she realizes she has been used. With funny enough the demoness actually growing to care about her and that care is what caused her to slip up and allow the newfound witch to succeed. But the deal had been signed and her mom woke up with amnesia and the witch knew her children would one day be taken.

So the mom was brought back to life and became the wife of the daughter? A mystery to be revealed later?

I was thinking the daughter witch, I really need names this is getting confusing, eventually does grow up and has two or three kids and has her mom living with her. Being dead for a long time has left her with some curse or injury. While her dad stayed with her stepmom, even if does try to help out. And yes she's a combination of mystery and bargaining chip the Demoness uses to control the family.

And the witch got powerful and skilled enough to keep the demon away but the pact is used by the demoness to get close to her son. And the grand plot fo the demoness after being hurt is to get revenge on the daughter but the son becomes a powerful warlock

That's the idea. Also since the contract brought the mom, now grandma, back if the contract is broken she dies.

So the mom has to follow the contract and the boy in all of this is learning how to exploit the trickster demon and gain power over his family and the town
