Take the kagoyma situation of awaken half blood demon but that demon has vowed vengeance on the bloodline of his betraying lover and he desires to devour demonic essence until he becomes a great demon king. And the kagoyma is in a contract to give him the shards in return for protection and power

All while the demon seduces and corrupts her mother and brother.

How much control does the human side have? And the demon side? And what set this whole thing in motion to begin with?

I was thinking set it in modern times instead of the feudal times of the Old anime? And human side is dejected and cold after years and the demon is ascendant but the human side is slowly waking up.

Only for the demon side to grow stronger on his quest for power.

So bit of a slice of life as you see this half demon guy try to live a normalish life while seducing his friends and family, but at night he hunting and eating different supernatural creatures and enemy's kind of like the Magical Girls eat witches in Puella Magi Madoka Magica. With a slow escalation as the two worlds intertwine. Alright that sounds kind of cool.

Me thinking about how a lot of romance supernatural fiction don't have monsters act like monsters. Even likable monsters are still beasts with core dark traits.

And goth Vicky. Let's talk that

Goth Vicky, I'm imagining is someone more confident and outspoken then nerdy or introverted. This is a new her, a chance to be different and stop following the crowd. To be her own person for once.

I like, Taking charge. What for sexy outfits and what are her character changes for the serious?

Well in the original her main character arc was being caught between her obligations and love for her family, and the freedom to be her own person and chase her own dreams. And to take that a set further in this one, I'm really liking the idea that for her whole life she's felt almost restricted to a preset path. She's the bubbly, happy one. She's the pretty one. She's the strong one.

But is she the real one. The real her

She feels stuck playing the role of a princess and hating how it doesn't give her room to be angry or smart, and wishing she could be more than the bay collateral damage barbie, the stupid blond hero who's naive and stupid. Who only breaks things and can't really help anyone.

Basically, Vicky doesn't know who she is or what she really wants, but everyone around her either thinks she has it figured out or expect to go down a certain path, and more than anything she wants the freedom to explore and change without being judged or letting anyone she loves down.

Smart as in a sarcastic bitch? Angry as in violent thug? What kind of goth fits her freedom of expression?

I was thinking she tries really hard to be a bit of a smart ass and a tough bitch, but she's too much of a sweetheart to fully commit to it. So it comes off more as cute than anything else, kind of like Ruby Rose from RWBY.

So even as a dark goth she isn't that mean. But is she still violent? Even moreso? Interesting combo if she's more sweet then ever but sarcastic bite and extra super strength violence with shadow powers

The whole family is more violent, despite the added stability the romance has given them ironically enough.

But how does her violence compare to the crazy of Carol?

More controlled ironically enough, since she's going to be one of the more sensible ones of the group and still has enough heroic aspirations to not go full murder blender, but she's still perfectly willing to break skulls and spines of push comes to shove.

Where as Carol gave up on being a hero and just likes being a milf sugar baby for her daddy
