Yikes. Want to talk this more or Hellsing? Like how except for Walter, is there any useful Hellsing agent that isn't Alucard?

But onto Hellsing, I was always curious how powerful of an organization they actually were. I mean like you said it really felt like Walter was the only one of note. And the fact they had to hire mercenaries because their mooks were getting butchered so fast, doesn't look good either.

But if Vampires are as big of a threat as they were, then how many other government agencies around the globe like Hellsing do you think exists? That actually neatly explains why the Catholic church has so much more influence and power in this universe, since they were probably one of the first organizations to really deal with Vampires,

We ain't getting that freeze again with fucking Trump and his rich fuck crew. There's no worldbuilding for Hellsing. Other then Alucard, what the fuck were they doing

And a lot of countries probably signed treaties allowing them to freely move around and deal with these kinds of threats. But again as times goes by and all these countries modernize, you would think they would develop their own anti vampire hunting squads. Especially countries like Great Britain, who thanks to King Henry had a pretty nasty break up with the Catholic church.

Vampires, Werewolves are fucking awesome we know with the ghost werewolf we see, and demons? Witches? Warlocks? How deep does it go?

Well like you said Hellsing always ran off the rule of cools, so while that gave us plenty of sexy waifu's it really doesn't give any writing or world building opportunities. That's probably why as popular as this series was, especially in the early two thousands when Fanfiction and forums where in its infancy, this series never delopped that much of fanfiction community around it.

Great characters but zero setting

But you know me, I like to think I'm pretty good at world building. lol. So this story, what do you want in it? Ancient conspiracies? Fictional cities and cultures? More waifu's? More powers? Just more casual world building, like the whole King Henry thing helping to jumpstart the creation of Hellsing? What are you looking for in your story?

Basic first thing is the Hellsing Organization made up of monsters tamed? Werewolves and Vampires? The Alucard vampire cultivating the Integra into a powerful leader and bride who has given birth to monsters the organization uses. If your into talking it I'll even keep it real world as a idea where often I avoid that like the plague

I'm thinking with Hellsing, it starts out from a family of monster hunters with one of Integra's ancestors able to secure the loyalty of Alucard through unknown ways like in canon. But unlike canon we're they seem to be working pretty independent from the government in this one they're a constant thorn and pressure.

Obviously the government does like that the entire defense of the country is dependent on one family, and in particular a family with supernatural abilities, and is steadily pushing for the entire organization to be run by mundane humans, with a majority of the ground forces being former soldiers and police units that were chosen to join usually after being exposed to the supernatural in someway.

Super overwatch tech being invested in to stop relying on monsters and warlocks and witches?

With these units usually playing more investigative roles in the organizations, scouring numerous sources, missing persons files, various cults that are being monitored, sting operations, and potentially even trustworthy psychic's for anything out of the ordinary going on. And out on the field usually playing the part of long distance gunners or support rather than being the direct door kickers fighting the monsters.

The direct door kickers are usually more monsters

With the real door kickers being Alucard and his team of monsters. Causing the two groups to constantly bicker for control over the mission, only being held back by Interga acting as a moderating force on both. As you said, the advancing technology is more and more able to counter balance and even beat out the supernatural threats. With various groups pushing for that instead of continuing to depend on Integra.

Old School is dark magic and dark monsters tamed and bound in different ways. Which the State hates relying on

It adds some realism and a nice source of tension in the background. Maybe even a nice reveal later on that the government is actually testing fully human units, armoured with drones and tanks to eventually replace Integra. Which actually neatly leads me to my next questions.

We can assume with the Walter model there are superhumanly skilled natural fighters in this occult orgs setting
