Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
I got a Kindle card from my family for my birthday and I'm probably going to buy some more Stephen King books. I'm currently rereading a Buick 8 and having a pretty good time with it.
A small town police office discovers a Buick-8 Roadmaster that is actually a portal to another dimension, and while it has its scares with a focus on Eldritch horror as paranormal things come out or get sucked into the car, the big focus is on how people respond and are effected by the obvious supernatural stuff.
With the emotional core being that one of the officers who first discovered the car died in a freak accident, causing his son to get obsessed with finding out the truth about the car.
This weird tentacle alien creature. That everyone teams up to beat to death with a bunch of shovels and other gardening tools, since it was so weird and alien looking they all assumed it was hostile, with one of the big reveals later being it was sentient, and harmless, and just as confused as they were as to what was happening.
Again very lovecraftian, and regardless of intentions or supposed innocence they were so different from each other and so alien looking it hurt everyone's brains enough to drive them into a primal frenzy just looking at them
The alien was also kind of physic in a way and it was broadcasting all the fear it was feeling being in this, from its perspective, alien world which fed into what the officers were feeling causing them to go temporarily crazy.
But none of it was explained very well for very obvious reasons, one of comics horror's big draws is that nothing ever gets fully explained, so how much was from the physic powers, from the alien looks, or just the paranoid and fear of the unknown was what caused the attack, we don't know.
A little bit in the morning but just fuzzy. New pretty girl messaged me at 8:54 while I was letting phone charge and now sent her a message at 11 and not going to go back to it or have any care for it unless she responds and if she does I'm taking it damn slow and expecting nothing of value
