He just wants to make sure his daughters actually get involved this time instead of sitting on their ass from the sidelines. He'll be a wild card, fighting for no one, and always scheming to try and increase tensions or drama with the goal of making more war.

I like how Ares enjoyed they were fighting over ideology and he doesn't care about the details. Only the anger and conviction and action

I like the idea of Ares being the patron of the Amazon's who's always trying to help them be the greatest warriors and become stronger

For Ares he more than anything loves the passion in fighting. It doesn't matter the flag or the reason, just that the people fighting genuinely believe and are willing to die for it. He has more respect for a Nazi or one of Pol Pot's fanatics, than the average American soldier today because for Ares the first two are much more willing to die and just as importantly kill endlessly for their beliefs.

It's why he shockingly really hates warmongers. Because to him, they aren't supporting the fight because they genuinely believe in it, but because they are trying to further their career, or line their pockets from the defense industry. Ares above all else believes in being genuine.

For example Ares doesn't think an old man is required to pick up a stick and die for his country but he does expect that old man to support his country or belief in other ways. Whether that's sending money to the troops, working extra hours in his factory job, or even something as small as saluting a flag, for Arey's all that's much more valuable to him than empty promises from a President.

Its a worldview that comes from a mind that divinely sees the beautiful humanity in the horror of war. Ares takes madness and slaughter and finds inspiration in it because he is the avatar for the idolizaton of war

I wanted to show, firstly how alien his world view is that he genuinely loves the slaughter and pain of war, but also that he's not some mindless brute. That there's a good side to him as well. That he's slaughter, pain, and blood, but he's also patriotism, honor, and self sacrifice. He's not good or evil, he's a force of nature.

Not sure how exactly the romance with Wonder Woman should go. I mean I have half of a character arc of her learning how flawed her own home is and seeking to change it, but how and what's her breaking point I don't know yet. And with the slavery part, I'm not sure what you mean.

A little bit of column A and a little bit of column B. The bimbofication will definitely have an effect, and will be a constant spruce of tension and drama as it goes further and further, but at the same time I want the characters to still have the freedom to choice, argue, and disobey. So it can't be perfect.

They retain agency but how much has the bimbofication altered who they are and what they feel and need from Mark? How dependant on his control are they? Needing him to guide and be the center of their lives? All the independence in the world and yet all their ambitions end up tjrbing around his desires

I was thinking Mark is like the moon instead of the sun. They don't need to think about him constantly or need his approval to chase after something they want, but he's always on the back of their minds. His love. His feelings. His moods. It might not be constantly seen but it influences his harem and how they feel or what they want.

Thats both sweet and potentially horrifying in implications

That's what I'm going for.

That their lives will always turn back to how to please and love Mark and their need for sex being kinky and submissive to him

Even if on the surface they look or feel powerful and in control.

It's a subconscious psychological binding to him.
