Lets see. What anime or franchise ya want to grab for inspiration?

I mean shit, I'm not really looking at specific franchises. A lot of stuff could work. Anything from Ghost in a shell, to Blade Runner and Cowboy Beatbob, to hell even franchises like Evangelion or Overwatch could work if throw out a lot of the more mystic crap going on in the background. Really I'm looking for the girls specifically and who you would think could mesh well in Night city and with the rest of the cast.

Which by the way, Motoko from Ghost in the Shell is very hot.

Widowmaker Overwatch. Tsuande honestly as some kind of cyber auged brawler. Or RWBY.

I sleep, but I'll think about it. See which characters from RWBY or Overwatch would have the best chemistry with David or Gloria, or would be a nice source for potential drama or tension.

I was looking around at fic's and there was this one with a self insert that has inspired inventor in PJO. The Plot wasn't moving as fast as I would like and while I like the author they tend to take a long time to update their stuff, so I'm dropping it for now. Might check back in in a few months and see where its at.

And while this version of the joker is pretty funny to watch and this is a comedy show so I really can't complain, I've always been more partial to the classic joker where one minute he's trying to gas an embassy and the next he's making fish puns as he's slapping batman with a giant mutated fish. You never know what you'll get, horrific tragedy, or dark comedy with puns. Always a mystery.

Dragonball and Bleach is the most mainstream of all the animes so probably not a full on geek, but maybe that's a good thing. Try something new.

But yeah it is kind of funny how a lot of Batman's villains have become more symbols than actual characters over the years. Harvey represents the fine line between justice and revenge. Mr Freeze became how far people would go for love. Killer Croc is how what people think of you shapes who you'll become.

Lots of interesting stuff, you could probably write a college thesis on these symbols, what they mean and how they've evolved. Speaking of Mr. Freeze though, the Harlequin show's version of his wife is something I actually really like.

I mentioned how Mr Freeze is supposed to represent how burning the world, or in this case freezing, isn't justified even if you're just trying to save your family. I think a big issue writers have is they make the wife a perfect angel, not just because it takes away her agency but it also isn't real so it makes the romance less real or relatable.

Basically her being a train wreck of a human being is not only painfully ironic and sad for Mr. Freeze, considering all he gave up but it also perfectly ties in with his character's flaws. He's ignoring his wife's flaws and all the pain and destruction he's causing other people all to live in this fantasy world and this fantasy relationship that doesn't exist.

I've seen people say she's in a self destructive grief spiral sex binge. Now the show could develop and focus on that further instead of having her be a walking horny joke
